Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch™ Remastered

In my opinion, Ni no Kuni Wrath of the White Witch is one of the most phenomenal games of all time. I am also speaking from nostalgia since I remember playing it on the Playstation 3 when it came out. But also if you are a new player, I think it is so easy to fall in love with this game. The story is captivating, the design of everything is beautifully done and detailed, the combat is strategic, challenging and satisfying, the music is gorgeous, the little quirks of every character come to shine in their own beautiful moments and everything feels meaningful. The side quests and monster hunts are rewarding you in an adequate way, and also sometimes require a bit of thinking, which I love. Casting spells and how you are able to travel through the world is just amazingly done and thought out. Monster encounters feel rewarding since you can catch them as familiars, which is one of the cutest things I have ever seen in a video game. Raising these creatures and picking a path for them to evolve, giving them treats, etc. is something so adorable in this game and probably my favorite aspect, besides the overarching story.

Whatever this game is lacking in terms of gameplay/combat etc. it makes up for with its visuals, this is pure eye candy, even more so if you are studio Ghibli fan. Highly recommend

Arte genial Música genial Historia entrañable Pero vaya lentitud en avanzar nada en el juego, siempre pasa algo para que tengas que volver al mismo punto 100 veces. El sistema de combate es la peste, todo se mueve y te golpea, incluso tu, mientras navegas por menus, HASTA, que si selecciones, entonces si se para todo para que elijas a quien lanzar el ataque. Para cambiar entre personajes igual. Otra cosa, para tirarte hechizos, tienes que cambiar al personaje que tenga el hechizo, POR QUE SOLO PUEDES TENER UN PERSONAJE EN PANTALLA. Te enfrentas incluso a tres bichos juntos, pero tu solo puedes sacar a uno a la vez. Y ya lo peor, el menu de configuración ESTA DENTRO DEL JUEGO, no puedes acceder desde el menu inicial. Y ahora si lo peor de lo peor, cuando inicia el juego hay un ruido de orquesta al máximo volumen que pueda tu pc, al máximo y no puedes quitarlo ni bajarlo.

This game redefined the concept of gacha for me. If in a gacha game you need to pay money for a chance to get something, in this one you don't need to pay. Want to get a powerful weapon? You need 10 stones that have a 3% chance of dropping from an enemy that has a 2% chance of appearing. Good luck. It's a shame, the story is fun. The characters are charismatic and at one point I really wanted this to be the first game I 100% completed. But to get 100% you don't need to try hard, you need luck.
