I play 5 mins - I fall asleep - It cozy - me go night night with this game. Story Progression 1%
This game's cute as heck, and has pokemon qualities without actually feeling like pokemon. Plus it has a good story. I'd take this over final fantasy any day.
While the difficulty curve is harsh, there are plenty of guides online to help out. And the grind is very worth it! The graphics aged well enough, the music is great, the world is whimsical and charming, and the characters are likable.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSUHHHH
this game promised me with the were cat spell to be a cat and did not deliver this genuinely ruined the game for me and i feel lied to 0/10
Great game -best monsters in a JRPG ever. Really creative and punny names all around and I wish these monsters were in palworld instead. I could have done with a better back tracking system or a faster way to get around to wrap up quests
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch has a very good story and great characters. I originally played it on the Nintendo DS, and they did a pretty good job with the remaster. However, I missed the magic sigils feature from the original game, where you had to draw symbols to learn spells. I’m also not a big fan of turn-based combat, so the game started to feel a little grindy around the halfway point and I stopped playing. But if you enjoy turn-based combat and anime-style games, this game is definitely for you.
It's a slow burn but an interesting story thus far. The battles are actually pretty tricky and challenging, save often and be sure to load up on magic. Review edit, I'm further in and instead of the battles getting better for me they are worse. There is no flow and the rewards are just not there for finally taking down a boss. Even worse, you just get more menu based attacks. This menu based fighting just isn't for me.
