Newton's Life at Home - Pixel Art Jigsaw Puzzle

The game offers a warm and chill place for the puzzle solving. The cat is cute and the music is nice! :D

I would love to recommend this game, but at the time of my writing there are two glaring issues: 1. The color palette choices, combined with a lack of ability to adjust the in-game contrast, make some of the puzzles ridiculously complicated to solve. The hex codes are similar enough that, on my large monitor, I'm unable to see many of the details near the bottom of the screen. Adjusting the contrast on my monitor helped mildly once I placed a pillow next to my keyboard so I could stare upwards to see the bottom more clearly. 2. The achievements don't work. I finished *one* puzzle in the 5 hours I have played, for the reason described above. And when I did finish, I discovered not achievement was unlocked. Furthermore, nobody has unlocked them. However, if you just need something to dissociate while dealing with FedEx, I can vouch this is still effective.

Even if I didn't already think this was especially good among other jigsaw puzzle games, I'd be recommending this one because IT LETS YOU ZOOOOM OH MY GOD WHY DON'T MORE JIGSAW GAMES LET YOU ZOOM?! Being able to zoom in on the puzzle makes the higher piece counts actually enjoyable, which is usually a huge shortcoming with these types of games. MY EYES THANK YOU, DEV!! But even without the zoom feature, this is probably the best jigsaw game I've played. I do digital jigsaw puzzles to relax after work, and this one eclipses every other one I've played because: 1) the fact that it's pixel art allows me to still understand what I'm looking at even on small pieces 2) the animated portions aren't so berserk that they become difficult to look at 3) the repeating backgrounds are spaced in such a way that you can actually develop a sort of strategy for how to complete them instead of blindly clicking them in every empty spot 4) the bright, vaporwave-y color palette is a refreshing change of pace from all the dark and drab puzzles out there 5) Newton is a cat. It's a cat game. Like, come on. [i]It's an animated pixel art cat game.[/i] If you don't like cat games, get off my internet. Also this game is only $2 at full price, and half the time it's on sale. I have a lot of worse jigsaw games that cost WAY more than that. This game's the real deal, two paws up from me.

VERY GOOD AND VARY SIMPLE, BUT WITH A DIFFICULTY GAME

Me surpreendi bastante com o jogo, a trilha sonora é muito foda no quesito boa e relaxante, e foi uma experiencia bacana, caso no futuro quando você tiver mais capital e puder fazer um jogo desses com uma arte com mais frames de animação e com mais coisas se mechendo vai ser incrivel, recomendo

I great jigsaw puzzle game with good pixel art. I recommend.

It's pretty cute. There's only 5 puzzles though (with several different difficulty options), but to be honest I probably wont get much play out of this. I cant imagine trying to finish the harder puzzles with all of the animation going on, so once I beat them on relaxing and easy I will probably not touch this again. But it's cute and relaxing for what it is. I like the music I just wish there was more of it. Its just one song on a loop. Basically, I wish the game had more puzzles. I did encounter a glitch where one of the pieces was locked into the wrong place. It didn't stop me from completing the puzzle but it kept laying above everything so it was hard to see the picture underneath. Once I placed the last piece besides that one the puzzle was completed even though the one piece was stuck in the wrong place. Honestly, you cant beat the price so if you want a few cute puzzles to play with I would recommend it.
