[b]newton's cradle[/b] is not where baby isaac used to spend his nights before an apple fell on his head, but that metal ball thing you see on important people's desks and think it'll never stop. it's also the inspiration for this puzzle game where you bounce metal balls into each other and try to make them stop where they should in order to reach one of the exits.
[b]32 levels[/b], some simple, some really tricky, one unlocked at a time, never good. [b]no timer or move limit, undo got patched in after release, though only a single move can be taken back[/b], so it has limited usefulness. multiple balls can be moved together, but of course hitting one with some momentum has a different result. after a few levels hollow balls get introduced, which can't be moved on their own, a regular one has to hit them.
controls are mouse-only, click and drag, graphics are simple but functional, the music is classical/jazz by way of an acoustic guitar, not necessarily bad, but I turned it off very fast.
as for technical stuff, [b]minimalism has gone too far[/b] once again, as this is the dev's second game: the unity launcher is disabled, no in-game options for resolutions or windowed mode either, alt+enter only produces an unresizable window. and no volume settings, of course, only sound and music on/off, which is buggy, as it doesn't stay turned off when you restart the game.
[b]it should take an hour or two to complete[/b] (more for me and I had to look up a few levels), the price is around the usual for these kinda games and it'd be fine overall, even if not entirely something for me, if it weren't for missing basics. if you're into playing with balls, there are better options around.
