This is actually a pretty decent choose your own adventure about survival on the seas and on islands filled with hostile clans and jungle fauna. You'll bounce between several characters after experiencing a shipwreck and being stranded on an island and found by the locals there. It's actually quite grim a lot of the time, with various choices to make about what to do along the length of the story with many choices actually affecting the plot and providing some pretty interesting if macabre death scenarios and game overs. The characters although could be more fleshed out are generally interesting, even if the dialogue itself can be a little stilted and roughly translated, with some errors. It seems this game was translated from Russian, and despite that as an English speaker I still found the writing to be pretty well thought out and engaging even with some odd line deliveries/wording. Sometimes the translations or odd phrasing will lead to the script being unintentionally funny, and it made me laugh several times, at least the characters show some personality, crack some jokes while at the same time delivering dramatic lines that are appropriate for this pirateish type of adventure. There's not a ton of replayability here, and it appears the game is to this day in an unfinished state and won't be finished, as the dev in the forum said they actually took the game script and turned it into a novel, and added a fourth and final chapter to conclude the story, but unfortunately as far as I know this book is only available in Russian language. Despite the fact this is a strange game with arguably not so great artwork, it's still relatively atmospheric and densely written for the price they're asking for, if you're willing to try to lose yourself in the bizarre but interesting world and scenarios. I enjoyed it for what it is and got several hours of entertainment out of it, if you liked the Risen 2 game, enjoy pirate like adventure games/choose your own adventures, there's probably something here that you'll find endearing, otherwise if you don't like visual novels or games that don't have actual "gameplay" other than making decisions along the story you should pass. I got the game on sale for .49 cents and at that price it's great, even if I paid a dollar for it I still got some decent entertainment value. Check it out for something different.

Минусы: на момент выхода — доступны не все главы (3 из 4); поначалу медленный темп повествования; местами недостаточная индивидуальность голосов персонажей; мало анимации. Итог: увлекательная новелла для любителей пиратских приключений и интерактивных историй. Подойдёт фанатам Dear Esther и классических морских романов. Лучше брать по скидке (прохождение доступных глав — около 9 часов).
