Need for Speed™

[h3]Not worth your money, only buy it on sale.[/h3] I beat the game and even started doing Prestige to try and get a more informed opinion on it, and honestly: The controls in this game are ridiculous. The car somehow manages to be both super slippery and glued to the track at the same time. You can't drive fast and make small corrections without the car immediately wanting to spin out. And if you try setting the car up for [b]Grip[/b], it suddenly becomes insanely slow whenever you take a corner. On the other hand, if you go for [b]Drift[/b], you can eventually get the car to start drifting by hitting the brakes while turning, but even then, the car will insist on going straight while braking.

The cars actually feel great, the weight of them, the drifting, the high speeds feel dangerous, but its also incredibly repetetive, the world is too small so you'll end up driving the same races hundreds of times (literally), I dont even know if theres an actual narrative here, I should be more than halfway through the game, but I dont know what my characters motivitations are, what they're trying to achieve, and I don't think there's even a villain in this game, you just drive around and win races, because... well because thats what they tell you to do. Just repetetive and boring, even though the actual gameplay aspects are great.

Игра была бы даже хорошей наверное, но действие происходит ночью, а на дороге синяя светящаяся полоса, указывающая путь для казуальных инвалидов. Эта синяя полоса такая яркая, что я не вижу окружение, вижу только полосу. Нахрена мне вообще эта полоса, если есть карта в углу экрана?! Думаю ну ладно, не страшно, зайду в настройки и уберу это недоразумение. И знаете в чём прикол? В настройках нельзя убрать эту синюю полосу обоссаную.... Я в игру поиграл чет около 20 минут, а вот мод на убирание синей полосы(кстати самый популярный мод) я ставил 2 часа и он так и не заработал. Игра крашилась. Видимо несовместимость версий или я хз, но больше времени на это тратить не хочу. В топку такой продукт. Ну а обязательный лаунчер ЕА это вообще хуже трояна или СПИДа.

BEST NFS game graphics wise. Its not perfect the story is cringe and the always online BS is just shi. I just hope EA pulls a crew 2 and does an offline patch because this game deserves it. Graphics wise it is a masterpiece.

My review? "A complete disappointment". Probably the worst Need for Speed ever made. It may look good, but if all you want is to see cool cars and neon lights, you might as well watch Fast & Furious. The moment you actually start driving, everything falls apart. The handling is unpredictable, inconsistent and frustrating from every possible angle: strange steering corrections, awkward drifting, poor control and a car that often feels like it is fighting against your inputs. A racing game where "driving the car makes you want to stop playing". That says it all.
