I cannot but RECOMEND this game. But not for its story, just for its awesome arcade racing and progression. Here is what you need to know first: 1. HDR : game has no native HDR support, but with a community mod called RenoDX you can have highly customisable NATIVE HDR modded into the game. 2. Disable TAA , use FXAA as an antialiasing method. TAA is a completely blurry mess and ruins the clarity and beauty of the game. With FXAA and if you have a 4K monitor this game looks mindblowing. Its really something else man, it triggers all your dopamine circuits. 3. If you have and AMD 9000 series card , like a 9070XT , you MUST use AMD'S RIS 2 (Radeon Image Sharpening 2), and set that bad boy to 100% for 4K displays. Makes your 4k image look like its 8K , thats cus RIS 2 uses AI to sharpen the image. Its insane the way everything comes together especially with HDR enabled. The story is verry cringe, but you dont buy nfs game for the story, we dont care about the story. The gameplay progression is where its at and this game has it all, visual customisation of your own, extremely detailed. Or just use comunity made visual presets wich look freekin cool as heck. Performance customisation wich you unlock by winning races and doing missions and getting money etc. Really fun old school progression. You are not given the best car in the game for your first race, everything you have to earn and that keeps you chasing for the best cars in the game, wich is great ! add this command to steam launch command if your game is blurry : -Render.ResolutionScale 1.0 , you can increase the scale up to 2x but your performance will also degrade. game has by default a 0.7 , wich makes it kinda blurry. I deffenetly think this game is awesome and worth it in 2026 i will be plyiing this alot!
