Yes you have to mod the game to enjoy it, vanilla the handling is awful and connection is spotty, but with a bit of work, this game far surpasses other modern need for speed titles in enjoyment, and looks absolutely stunning. Go mod NFS and it'll be one of the best racing games you've ever played
