Hot pursuit 3 is a good game that is not for me. Objectively it is great, good selection of cars: good sountrack: good handling. I am not going to comment on visuals because this is a remaster. But as someone who grew up on black box games especially underground 2, I want more than this game offers. I want to tune the cars and i want to cruise in open world. Now Hot pursuit 3 does have an open world option but it requires conscious choice to go and drive there, My preference lies in doing doing few races, going on a cruise around the map followed by few more races. Its hard to be spontaneous in this game. Also kinda ironically this game started the brake to drift era of NFS that many fans dislike. Id give it a neutral vote if i could because as i said, i couldnt get into it, but it is objectively a good game.

Terrible remaster, there are even downgraded textures at the cost of performance, that does not change the fact that Hot Pursuit is the best arcade NFS you can get on Steam, no need for 20hrs+ grind for each car just hop off a couple of hours with friends and try a different legend car every match. Don't have to worry about a mediocre cringy campaign because it lacks a campaign entirely, it gives you instead a singleplayer mode with one fun race after another, Took me 30 hours to 100%'d it (including cop career) and was ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth it.
