Reviews
# Recommended I'll start by saying I recommend this game and am giving it a positive review for one simple reason: I can't stop playing it. I've thoroughly enjoyed my time with it. That said, I think there is still a lot of work to be done if the developers want the game to appeal to a wider audience. It's a fairly niche title in its current state. I've played a lot of survival games over the years, including 5,000+ hours across ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Survival Ascended, along with many others. What Myth of Empires does exceptionally well is long-term progression, large-scale PvP, offline raid protection, and deep character/stat progression systems. ## Pros * Almost never-ending progression. There is always something to work toward. * Large-scale PvP with meaningful territory control. Taking over a County or Prefecture allows players to collect taxes from one or even multiple servers, creating real political and economic power. * Building feels rewarding. Unlike many survival games where players rush to endgame structures immediately, progression here feels meaningful. Seasonal experience scaling slows down players who get too far ahead, allowing the community to experience each tier of gear and construction as intended. * Tons of PvE content and character progression depth. * Exploring, gathering resources, and progressing with friends is simply fun. ## Cons * PvP balance is heavily impacted by pay-to-win mechanics. The seasonal pass is reasonably priced and offers good value, but players can spend hundreds of dollars early in a season to gain significant advantages. For a competitive PvP game, this hurts balance and long-term enjoyment. Either the power gained from spending needs to be reduced, or more of it needs to be accessible through gameplay. * Graphics and animations feel dated. The game often looks and feels like an older title, which can make it difficult for new players to get into. * Combat needs refinement. There are a lot of interesting ideas in the combat system, but it still feels rough and unpolished in execution. * Smaller groups are at a significant disadvantage. This is more of a personal complaint, but the game often feels designed around large guilds. Combined with the pay-to-win elements, smaller casual groups can struggle to survive against established alliances. ## Final Thoughts Despite my criticisms, I genuinely love this game. It isn't perfect, but it offers some of the deepest progression systems I've seen in the survival genre. If you're looking for a new survival game and don't mind a steep learning curve, it's absolutely worth trying. The game is free, so there's very little risk in giving it a shot. You can enjoy a large portion of the experience without spending money. The seasonal pass provides the best value, and beyond that, most purchases are primarily about keeping up in PvP rather than accessing content.

PVP is anything but skill based, a million p2w upgrades and crazy stat stick gameplay. Guy runs around naked and 1 shots you because he has all the upgrades. Not fun, trashcan no skill game.
原来的付费版完蛋了就不更新了,出来个王权赛季服,饼画了不少结果都是炒冷饭。 现在王权人也没了,又把凉了一年的国服拿出来了,是不是王权马上也不更新了? 5年老玩家劝你们善良
was fun, devs ruined and killed game, game ded now pretty simple.
devs are greedy , no skill needed just a fat bank account. Do Not Waste your time
Game isn't worth playing have to place terriotry banner for buildings to last but banners only last two days before you have to reset them or everything you own and built will just disappear. so if you want to play this game that means no more going on holiday as if you cant login for a week you'll come back to sweet ♥♥♥♥ all. or if your internet line has issues that require an enginener to come out and do work you can likely expect to find all your ♥♥♥♥ gone. secondly the game itself is up for free but its primarily just a false advertisement, you will eventually get to a point that you can no longer progress the MAIN missions in game, unless of course you buy the seasons advanced tally order in order to place certain buildings. would not recommend to anyone unless the developers actually decide to make aspects like the main missions completable without having to spend actual money and they set the territory banners to last for the entire season. seems ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculous that they do a fresh wipe every season but can't make territory banners last for the actual season. piss taking little money grabber devs
So where do we start after 14hours played on this game ill say dont play this . It had som much potential i realy liked it at first being able to use npc for war and gathering transport and much more. but that is all the possitive games i can tell about this game sadly. chinnese player running every server, spawn camping almost every spawn area . not to say its pay to win do you want more then 5 npcs to work buy more slots do you want more horse slots buy some do you want overpowered gear that can one shot you buy overpriced skin on our site do you want to buy stuff in game like recources buy it with gold . this game HAD good potential but the devs and chinnese players just ruined it
Stay away for the sake of you mental and financial health. The greed of these developers knows no bound and they are using very scummy ways to trick you to spend money. The game is a buggy lagfest and every new thing they add makes it worse.
