I love My Singing Monsters and this is a fun little thing to come back to for silliness. I don't think it's meant to be anything but funny and seeing people hate it just because "oh well its a trombone champ rip off" makes me upset. It's just a silly little msm free game. Nothing major! We should stop hating each other because of it honestly.
I really want to like this game, but it feels so unfinished. And i would excuse that because it's free so maybe it's just a fun little side project that isn't meant to be taken seriously. But if that's the case then why is it so heavy on the advertising? Like why does it have so many ads for the main game and merch (like as if this game is already just sooo popular and rich in gameplay)?? Ive been playing the base game for over 10 years now, ive given it my financial support already! Other than the ads there aren't many songs to play, and if you want more then you have to use a website for the game "Trombone Champ" that this game seems to be heavily HEAVILY ""inspired"" by. Come on BBB, I know you can do better than this. Regarding the actual gameplay, the scoring system feels almost too lenient. ill fumble so many notes and yet i'll get 3 stars? I mean sure I guess. I wish there was a way to indicate whether you hit a note or not, because other than my monster singing a clean pitch when i hit a note, idk if ive really hit it properly or if i just got close enough. Especially if the song happens to drown out my monster's voice (like entbrat, they're very quiet in this game). Overall I'd rather you updated msm composer.

Calling it "Kareoke" is misleading, it's trombone champ but with singing monsters that make noise instead of trombone noise. I Mean it's free and trombone champ was fun, but it wasn't what I was looking for going in with the "kareoke" title. The one song I played seemed a little long but I impressed the judges nonetheless. There is no kareoke you move the mouse up and down the screen and click to hit the notes to make the monster trump a noise like a trombone trumpet, except it's whatever noise that particular monster makes. Seems it's own recognised songs but you could import your own as there is a feature. Just don't expect to be able to play by singing notes or hitting notes with your own audio range as it's all a mouse thing.
forced me to play as bbno$ for all achievments
monter in all seriousness this game isnt taking itself seriously and i dont get why people are so mad were lucky to even have the ability to play this i do wish there was a disclaimer that this is based off trombone champ though its rushed its stupid but you get to play as sox and thats peak
It's a goofy, free game. But it's a blatant ripoff of Trombone Champ as well as the ability to play Trombone Champ charts (yes, you can literally download charts and play them here). No score tracking or any sort of completion marks (FCs) for any song. Not to mention it's the same song 8 different times. It's a fun way to pass like...5 minutes, if that.
0/10. Komplett für die Tonne.
this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good it's the best thing to have ever graced this god forsaken planet and i praise the devs who made this excluding bbnozilla or whatever his name was just because i dontt like the way he sounds but everybody needs to play this right ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ now this is the best game i have ever found the joy to have downloaded and played and i will be playing more in the future
Not worth your time. MSM Karaoke is just a lazy ripoff of Trombone Champ with a purely cosmetic "Rare Pack" DLC to get some extra cash. There's no difficulty settings or even an interface to tell you which songs will be easy and which will be hard. There's no scoring until the end when the monsters grade your playing, which is a complete mystery as to what they're even scoring. It also doesn't say which songs you've played/mastered and which monsters you've played as in the menu. The art is also reminding me of the corporate style where they exaggerate any features they can to make it seem personalized. Don't release a game that barely has any gameplay at all. TLDR: MSM Karaoke is a lazy excuse for a game and needs reworking NOW. ($2 for a tiny cosmetic DLC...)
