My Silly Science Summer in the Past

Nice music, and a lot of love put into the game. It has this quirky little feature that explains to players non-story related information, and choices where you have to know your "intellectual" stuff, like Maths or Physics. Though, it would've been good if the game didn't let you scroll back after these choices. It also has mini-games, which so far, haven't been a hassle to complete. I've not played it all yet, but I think I'm going carry on just to see how Sylvia, a snobby noble develops as a character, because she seems like an interesting character.

A very nicely made visual novel. It's the "companion piece" to Sweet Science in which you can play the scenario as a girl and - as far as I have seen yet - without the romantic aspects. So you can play it as a new take on the story but it also stands very well for it's own. It's a fun, entertaining and well written science fiction story with endearing characters, solid production values and - for those who remember - a lot of nostalgic and nerdy elements from the Nineties. I highly recommend it!

The Sweet Science experience, but finally as a relatable main character - a girl :) got to focus on my favourite character Sylvie again and play some minigames along the way, including a whole game of Go, very much recommended!

I just dipped into My Silly Science Summer and it’s super cozy and cute. The time-travel setup is lighthearted, and those tiny puzzle bits break up the chatting nicely. Wholesome, nerdy, for a tea and chill session.

This game caught me off guard in a good way. It starts off simple, but before you know it, you’re wrapped up in a really charming story about curiosity, friendship, and a group of girls who each bring something totally different to the table. The pacing is relaxed, the humor lands well, and there’s a nice balance between silly moments and genuinely sweet ones. I liked how it never tries too hard to be dramatic or deep. It just lets you enjoy spending time with the characters and watching them grow closer. The art is lovely, the music fits nicely, give it a try.
