My Protogen Engineer ⚙️

The visual novel fumbles what would've been an interesting transhumanist character arc for the MC, but fumbles again and again when he repetitively does the literary equivalent of rolling a Nat 1 on every speech check whilst somehow bagging someone so naive on his situation that the best she only does at times to affirm his situation is "trust me bro, it gets better", only being broken through at the beginning of the final act. Even then, there's nothing behind these characters that truly compels me to care about them; the MC is furry Han Solo that's whose entire motivation can be summed up to being upset he can't have 'real sex' anymore, and the love interest is a cardboard cutout with a construction paper drawing of Tony Stark plastered on top, both caught in a deceptively heart-wrenching romance that preys on cliche to get the waterworks going. Overall, my feelings are that this visual novel needed more. While I understand that I'm asking for more development behind characters that were meant to be utilized by the Sex DLC (extra: i played without it, and the story feels disjointed at times with the poor implementation of jump cuts between when the DLC would add the cutscenes), it nonetheless leaves me disappointed because if given more time to bake in the areas where it needed it, this could've been so much more.

Ставить плохой рейтинг не буду из-за того что не оправдал ожидания. А поставлю за качество. Грубо говоря обпёрженый текст, и картинки с протогеном (гемотоген). Я жумал тут чето поинтереснее, рас уш написанно Engineer. Хоть чето интерактивное бы добавили. Хз. Крч, надристал.

Another solid game by Dirty Fox. I enjoyed it and look forward to getting more games but there is a rather big boom of Protogen ones they are making which makes me happy. I cant wait for more of their games to come out this year. I sure as hell will be buying them day one.

Low key this game was good, but i didn't really like Marwen, i understand he was some tough dude but he was genuinely so ungrateful and genuinely just thought about doing the thing... Honestly, i was disapointed with this game, because for me, i thought it would be connected to the main my furry protogen story (the devices and arcai), or there would be an actual vilain, but no. But hey, this game worked on an actual love story and connecting instead of sci-fi war. The "scenes" were okay, but could have been better not gonna lie, i like sparky though. I was surprised with the announcement of my protogen engineer 2 because i thought he died (and wanted to it would have been funny)

The first game from the Furry Protogen universe that I've played, and, it was actually pretty sweet. May have gone through it a bit fast, though.
