I must say i am surprised to see so few comments .... Before I start my review I want to say that I very much liked the game and now for WHY I liked this game and after the well Bad parts: Positive: The Story is actually really well written, the art style is cute and pretty and the atmosphere (with some small exceptions) is great, it really goes well with the renders and the story. I was intrigued and pleasantly surprised on how much I liked it ...... and I know, I know I didn't give any examples on why I liked the story but belive me it is rather hard without using spoilers and the story is the crown jewel of this AVN I don't want to spoil it. NSFW well I liked it fitted in with the story very well but it is very limited and not animated ... but I do not think that it was the focus when they developed this game. Negative: Well I've just going to come out and sa.. I mean write it: VERY LIMITED RENDERS the story presents so many aspects, clues and descriptions that would have been great to have especially considering the cure art style. Another thing is that some narrated text (usually when a character is thinking or remembering) is displayed on the centre of the screen occupying the entire screen this way you can not see the background properly and I found it a experience stealing distraction
i love the art but youre gonna have to try to figure out what angel handjobs tsundere slobs squished kittens and hot not docs are doing together in a text-heavy visual novel if you do find out please tell me
非常不错的游戏,我很喜欢背景的雨声,游戏的BGM也很不错。如果H场景再多一些,做成连贯的CG就更好了,希望下一部能有更多CG
I like it. Good story, and, I don't know if it's was the goal but, the intermission with the Zookeeper helps a lot to stay engaged dispite suffering from ADHD/Autism. Edit : I wrote this before the end of the second intermission.
better then garage vamp still very linear you can spam yes to unlock most scenes. Story is pretty good but choices still mean nothing other then you want 18+ scene or no. I would say it worth the money if it was 5 usd instead of 10 usd. the charm of the characters is good. over all for the amount of choices you get to ultimately have 1 ending 10 usd is not a good price.
haven't really played anything like this before - weird as ♥♥♥♥ but absolutely fascinating
good story, but short
TL;DR: I came for sexual content with a cute artstyle, I stayed for a deep, captivating story about mental illness and abusive relationships. Highly recommended if you want a deep, thought provoking read. I originally bought this because the artstyle on the Steam page just resonated with me, and I was horny with a few bucks to spend on Steam games. I kept reading because the story genuinely captivated me and I couldn’t help but follow Wayne and Zoy’s journey in this visual novel. There are several things I loved with the writing in this story. - I love how the story is structured. Its chapters are separated into “therapy sessions” where we start from the present day Wayne talking to his therapist and having him tell us what happens between chapters. This makes us feel like we are in the therapist’s shoes listening to Wayne, which enhances the immersion of the story. - I loved how the characters are full of life. Characters communicate between each other the same way genuine friends would. I was constantly smiling and laughing with the characters as they interacted with each other as I read. It makes the dialogue feel realistic and alive rather than a medium to just move the plot forward. - A nice touch they added between chapters were the intermissions. They served as a way to catch a breather from the main story. It would go over details that aren’t addressed in the main story to further enhance its worldbuilding. It kinda felt like a way for the author to talk to us directly and to add depth to the world or to talk about fun facts. - I loved how respectfully it handled its darker topics such as mental illness and abusive relationships. Wayne’s past involves both of these subjects, yet is still given its due justice and adds depth to his character. It uses these topics to enhance a theme of self-care and a slow healing process in a healthy environment. On the other hand, there are a few negatives, which are still far and few between, that did break some immersion while reading: - Most of the choices don’t have a major impact on the story. They do add a tiny bit of dialogue, but don’t impact the story as much as I thought they would. Not sure if I was just nitpicky with this one. - There’s a lot of imagery in this that isn’t rendered. On certain scenes of the visual novel, they describe some pictures that are fairly important to the plot that weren’t shown. While we did get the descriptions of what the photos showed, it did feel incomplete not being able to see it themselves. The narrative is also very story-driven to the point where I wouldn’t really consider it an NSFW Visual Novel, as all the NSFW scenes are *optional* and independent of the main story it tries to tell. I think this is a great thing as this visual novel has a phenomenal story to tell and I highly recommend it if you want a deep, thought provoking read. Also the therapist is HOT and by far my favorite character.
