Murder on the Marine Express is a kinetic novel (linear, no choices) and the first installment of The Mysteries of Ranko Togawa series.
The St. Joachim Academy for elite girls booked the maiden voyage of the new Marine Express submarine train, which runs along the ocean floor from California all the way to the Japanese coast. The journey seems like the perfect opportunity to enjoy the beautiful underwater scenery, learn about marine biology and, ultimately, relax from regular school life. However, the idyllic travel turns into a nightmare when one of the teachers is found dead in his room. Who could have killed the most popular and beloved professor in the academy?
Ranko Togawa, accompanied by her friend Astrid, takes it upon herself to investigate the events and clear the name of the main suspect. Of course, it won't be that simple. As the number of victims grows, the possibility of facing a serial killer becomes more real and panic slowly sets in. Ranko will have to make the most of the time left to find out the truth and prevent the mysterious murderer from killing again, although not all the answers will be to her liking.

Misterio entretenido, además de sentirse muy real, lo cual ayuda a conectar con los personajes y sus historias. El diálogo es carismático y gracioso, así que de vez en cuando, cambiaba el idioma del juego del español al inglés, para ver cómo se habían traducido los chistes. Recomiendo muchísimo el juego.
Good, short, whodunnit. If you're a fan of Agatha Christie, Conan Doyle, Seishi Yokomizo, or the like, you'll probably enjoy this too.

Se você gosta de Visual Novels e romance policial, esse jogo é uma boa opção. A história é bem simples, sem deixar de ser engajante, com um plot twist não tão impactante; não porque é ruim, mas porque não houve desenvolvimento suficiente dos personagens para se surpreender, porém tudo foi bem desenrolado e o suspense foi mantido até o fim mesmo quando a conclusão foi além do esperado. Contém críticas sociais sobre assédio às mulheres, e o jogo tem que receber o parabéns por desenvolver o tema sem ferir a narrativa, representado fortemente por personagens que são indivíduos além de ferramentas de uma crítica.
ストーリーやボリュームはゲーム説明に書かれているので、 個人的に気になったシステム面について書きます。 全5章で各章から読み直せるチャプター選択あり。 セーブスロットは1ページに4つで、3ページの計12個 UI自体がかなりシンプルでセーブやバックログを見るのに画面右上のオプションから行う必要があり、操作のしづらさが目立ちました。（マウスホイールのバックログ機能がなく、右クリックで設定画面が開けません） ただし上記の問題も遅読な私でも3時間ほどで読み終えられるボリュームですので、気になる前に読了すると思います。
他のレビューに大体全て書いてあるので、感想と「バックログ機能」についてだけ 先にバックログですが、携帯メニューの右下に「Log」ってあります。 終盤で気づきました。見逃す人居るよこれ。 感想は、まぁ短い。あと本線と関係ないと断定できる会話量が多い。でも文句はない BGMよし、キャラクター性よし、内容よし。「本線と関係ない～」は「そういう作品」レベルでしかない。 いい作品です。 ゲーム好きに勧めるにはゲーム性皆無なので厳しく、推理小説好きに勧めるには短いのが難点ですが 事件内容は、最後の推理を外したので言う権利があるかわからないが、かなり分かりやすい。 割といい線まで一緒に推理できただけに、最後の最後だけ外したのがちょっと悔しい。日を置いたのが問題だったろうか？そういう問題でもない気はするが
