A solid game for beginners that's easy to pick up and play. Perfect for killing time and unwinding after a long day.
A learning project that should not have been released at this stage. Let me start by noting that if this had been priced similarly to all other budget indie shooters with random assets, it would have been acceptable. But this is not the case. It’s a game from a cheap region with a ridiculous price for everyone else. The optimization is not ideal. Most of the time, it feels OK, but when you move the mouse and character in a different direction, the game decreases its frame rates dramatically. For a shooter, this is quite problematic. To have a playable experience, I had to lower all of the settings. However, this displays the lackluster texturing and world-building. Furthermore, it eliminates the need for a flashlight because everything becomes bright. What matters now is gameplay. The controls are fine because you merely move around, fire, aim, and pick up items. Unfortunately, the game fails to provide an exciting shooting experience due to an odd design decision: bullets fly only a few meters. This means that if you see an enemy at the other side of the street, you won’t do any damage to it. Although the enemy is restricted by the same limit, that doesn’t stop it from firing at you all the time. Of course, you can just stand there because you won’t get hit until you enter within the invisible range. The enemy's behavior is unusual. They'll fire a few rounds, flee to another location, turn to a random point for a second, then remember you're there and resume shooting. Once you get close, they will charge at you without regard for their own safety. Enemies are bullet sponges. Your ammo is very limited so you need to grab it from enemies. But there’s a problem here as well. Enemies clip into the ground and go into an unsettling rag-doll animation where their legs are still kicking. Your health can be replenished by finding medkits. With all of the above, the only way to play this is to aim at the enemy while it’s coming at you, and fire when you start losing health. I was willing to ignore all the issues and still give the game a try. However, you can’t even complete the first stage due to broken objectives.
mr jones lives in a van, sits and waits for the world to end, counts the fingers on his hands, loses count then he starts again (agartha)
