Mouthwashing

Probably one of the most overrated games on Steam. Not saying it's terrible, but it's severely mediocre. The characters are super basic and the plot is very, very predicable, which is a problem when about 80% of the game is basically a walking sim. I actually like many walking sims, but the plot and characters need to be strong enough to backup the lack of gameplay, which isn't the case here. The horror elements in the game a super weak (don't expect this to scare you at all), but the nightmare sequences are still the best part of the game. If they'd focused on those sequences and improving the horror elements rather than the walking sim parts, it could've been a lot better. The horror designs were decent, but the design of the cast characters are weak and the music is trash. No technical problems, but I have a nice PC and this is a very low spec game so that's expected. Overall, $13 for this 3h mediocre walking sim is insanely over priced. I got it for like $2 in a bundle and it still doesn't seem worth it, so at the very least wait for a heavy discount and be ready to return it if you don't like it.
