I could refund it, it only took me an hour and half to beat the game, but I won't because the game is fantastic and I want to support the devs. Even if I had gotten it at full retail price it's still worth it to support projects like this. Don't let the internet cornballs who latched themselves onto this game make you avoid playing it, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ excellent.

Just bought and finished Mouthwashing today and… holy moly. I absolutely loved it. I’m not usually into horror because I can’t play jumpscarey games, so I was glad this doesn’t lean heavy into that. I love atmospheric horror. The art, sound design, and pacing all work well to create the constant feeling of dread and unease. It gets under your skin by slowly revealing just how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything really is. It’s short, but I think that works in its favor. It doesn’t overstay its welcome or dilute its impact. It just grabs you, drags you through its increasingly disturbing story, and then leaves you sitting there staring at the screen like: “…what the ♥♥♥♥.” 10/10.

I love the art style and the narrative is very dark, also there's a lot of very gross and creepy psychedelic horror. Even though the game is only about 2 hours I think its still the best indie horror game iv'e ever experienced. There's only a few chores in the game that lengthen it but they actually do something to advance the plot. Most indie horror games just make you mop the floor or some ♥♥♥♥ for no reason but this game never felt like a waste of time. I cant recommend this game enough, after being 2 years late and only watching gameplay I think I can say I got the exact experience I wanted from this gem. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY....
