Motor Town: Behind The Wheel

Great game, works perfect on linux too, but I wonder if the devs have ever ridden a motorcycle or tried most of the cars they're portraying. All vehicles are a lot less fast than their real world counterpart and don't handle as well. I personally have a miata and it's honest to god 10 times easier to take turns at high speed in real life than in this game with it. Game often gives you vehicles with big horsepower numbers but they don't translate to the actual driving at all, EG you can have a 200 hp motorcycle, which gives you absolutely insane, almost suicidal power to weight ratio in real life, and yet it will also be slower than my 110HP one irl - also, bikes are soap bars. Otherwise it's honestly great though. Putting an actual economy sandbox in a driving game is something I didn't know I needed.

I wanted to wait for 1.0 but I can't stay quiet any longer. The short answer is YES I really strongly recommend Motor Town. Especially to people who like truck or bus games. Motor Town is fun and full of heart and drives a lot better than you'd expect. It's not a sim but it's surprisingly hardcore! It's actually that which convinced me to write a review of it, I bought a wheel recently (Moza R12 base, Moza CS Pro wheel, CRP2 pedal, NLR Elite 160 WP cockpit) and the out-of-the-box force feedback and support this little gem offers were so spectacularly good (for the price) that I just couldn't not. If you ever played ETS2 or ATS or any good bus game and you liked it, this is that but with some elements of Animal Crossing thrown in, and there are cars and motorbikes too. I'm almost certain you'll love this.

Great game, but gets boring after awhile. After you unlock everything and get your levels up - there isnt really anything you can do besides tow cars and do some hauling on the map. Game really needs more content to be able to keep players that have achieved the current gameplay.

i have really enjoyed my time with this game until i tried to build a depot. it is impossibly hard to get any goods moved on the dirt terrain, especially once you have a load on the back of the truck. I have spent 2 days trying to get coal, iron, and lumber with absolutely no success. It is mind numbing and makes the entire playing experience unbearable. additionally the ai routes are useless for transporting all of the goods i have tried to automate. I want to love this game but it just really makes me angry to have all my progress halted like this. especially after investing all my in game money on a fleet of cars that can't help me move the goods i need.

Oyun dediğin böyle olur... Demosuna 63 saatimi verdim. Helal olsun. Araç, taşıt dediğinde aklıma gelen ilk oyunsun artık.......
