Morkull: Ascend to the Gods is a 2D Boss Rush and a sequel to the game Morkull Ragast's Rage, the game revolves around Morkull (The MC) and his attempts at getting out of the video game made by the "Developers" in this sequel he attempts once more to exit the game. The game offers 8 doors with each having a brutal and challenging boss inside that you need to overcome in order to unlock the next one. There are permanent upgrades (HP, DMG...etc) as well as charms that you can equip to make your character stronger with each battle. The OST and and music was top notch, intense themed songs that matches to each challenging fight. Boss fights were brutal and challenging as well as focus and timings based, you have to check indicators that appear during the fight and act accordingly, like dashing, parrying etc. Punishing boss fights that will give you that adrenaline rush. It's really recommended if you're into brutal challenging boss rush games. Overall Rating 9/10

es un auténtico boss rush, donde cada combate es el plato fuerte. Nada de relleno, solo batallas épicas contra dioses, cada una con mecánicas únicas que te obligan a mejorar y adaptarte. Además, su protagonista rompemuros y su humor le dan un toque muy especial. Intenso, desafiante y muy divertido. Totalmente recomendado.

Me ha sorprendido mucho Morkull - Ascend to the Gods. Se nota que han dado un paso adelante en todo: el combate es más fluido, las habilidades tienen más peso y los jefes son mucho más interesantes de enfrentar. El humor sigue siendo uno de sus puntos fuertes, con ese rollo de romper la cuarta pared que le da tanta personalidad, pero esta vez con más carisma en los diálogos. Además, el apartado artístico dibujado a mano le sienta genial y hace que todo tenga mucho más encanto. Dicho esto, el estilo visual merece una mención aparte: las animaciones están llenas de detalle y expresividad, y cada escenario tiene su propia identidad. Se nota el cariño en cada diseño, con un acabado muy cuidado que hace que el juego entre por los ojos desde el primer momento. En general, se siente completo, pulido y más divertido. Muy recomendable si te gustan los juegos de acción con carácter propio.
