I cant get past how clunky the combat and controls feels
A boring, shallow, unpolished mess of mechanics that sound good on paper and are disastrous on execution. This is an extremely grindy top-down view action game that, after a decent introduction with the first biome/dungeon type, essentially resorts to harassing and unavoidable damage to pretend a depth and difficulty it doesn't really have. You are constantly expected to micromanage thousands of items with limited inventory space to barely scramble for the next % increment, which allows you to binge on healing items so you can survive whatever traps and curveballs you get. Instead of skill, you just sigh dramatically and resort to filling your slots with potions so when an entire dungeon room is slick with poison that heavily damages your character, you can plug them like an IV drip and hope you get to the end floor soon. There is no skill, no depth, no balancing and no rewarding for real preparation except for having enough stats and healing items that you can essentially brute force your way through the dungeon. Don't be fooled by the manageable golem section, it's the only one that it's kinda tolerable - the game goes downhill. The shop managing part, after the initial reward hit at nailing good prices on something, is just rinse & repeat while watching for VERY obvious shoplifters, so you can't even make it run passively. Presentation is chibi-pixel which is barely above a flash game on a browser without its charm, dialogues can't be skipped, and the game outside of a dungeon is generally slow, uninteresting and above all, artificially inflated by extreme grinding. I got this for free and wish I hadn't
I would recommend but if you are playing on keyboard instead of controller you may need to adjust the controls. Besides that it is a great game!

Joyita oculta!
