It's a fun game, though it could have used some polish. Hitboxes are a bit janky. The dash ability has weird physics, and you can get stuck on terrain. Double jump has weird interactions with screen scrolling. The shield does nothing to help the player.
Rather short metroidvania game, but it does some of the things well. Don't know the experience of the developer but the game feels janky sometimes unfortunately, jumping is a bit slow and some bounding boxes will be frustrating. It sometimes feels like a gamejam release, but since the game is free, it is rather playable and rather fun, with some polish and some added content it could be a good commercial release. I would give the graphics an 7/10 because they really encompass that retro vibe very well and also love the color palettes in the various regions. While the game does miss some of the points and some entrances in a screen can kill you automatically, the developer did some amazing feats. I really loved when I got the final fire dash power up, I won't spoil what happened, but that was such a highlight for me and for that moment I am recommending the game even though it has some rough spots. As a game developer I would say it is important to play thru and see what doesn't work and think how you'd change it.

How do i even beat the first boss thing
Simples e bacana! O único problema são algumas interações estranhas com o dash que podem te colocar entre o chão. Também recomendo não fechar o jogo no último checkpoint, pra mim aconteceu um bug onde dar continue nessa parte crashava o jogo, então perdi o save no boss final.
Yes, it's a really short Metroidvania game and I admit it, before I achieved the double jump skill the game felt even a bit annoying at the start (especially the first boss), but after that it turned out really fun and I loved the end, because it reminded me of a fun Metroid-reference! I can't recommend this game though without a controller, because the standard key binding is... weird. And for all achievement hunters: you won't find any in this game!
short and sweet
Could not get past first boss, as it does not appear to take damage, and regularly causes the character to glitch out and die.
Good introduction for a metroidvania.
Pretty good for a free game. Also hard as balls.
