Learn how 18 rules interact, spot the exceptions, and chain Purify, Charge and Admit into a satisfying final stamp. The Shrine Cat can reveal your next move when you need a little help.

Correct decisions build your combo and earn coins. Risk a wager to double a visitor's stamp points, or protect your streak with an omamori charm. Mistakes extinguish Haunt lanterns; lose them all and the shift ends.

Thirty nights. Two worlds. Your judgement.

Work through six chapters with changing scenery, ten kinds of nightly event, recurring spirits and boss inspections. Meet a fox reporter, a lost ghost and a suspiciously well-connected bookkeeper across 30 authored visits. Five chapter decisions shape which of three endings you discover.

Choose Cozy, Normal or Cursed difficulty. Between-shift checkpoints let you retry a failed night without restarting the whole campaign.

Walk the festival you protected.

Between shifts, explore the night market as the shrine cat. The guests you admitted wander the festival. Visit Kichi's stall for nine upgrades for your current run and repeatable services, draw an omikuji fortune from Hana, then return to the torii for the next night.

Return to the gate.

• Endless Shift: a score attack that builds through all 18 rules, then offers night omens as the pace tightens.
  
• Daily Shift: one attempt at a date-seeded queue of 20 spirits, with no upgrades. A fresh challenge arrives at midnight UTC.
  
• Gatekeeper's Journal: track discovered endings, perfect shifts and personal bests. Fill the Yokai Field Guide with eight spirit portraits, field notes and rulebook excerpts as you encounter them.
  
• Make yourself comfortable: separate music and effects volume, windowed and fullscreen modes, an optional CRT effect, reduced motion and pause controls.

A single-player game of observation, quick decisions and supernatural hospitality. Personal scores are saved locally; Daily Shift does not require an online leaderboard.
