Very fun game with a lot of different skills that interact nicely. Developer is actively supporting it; When I was unable to launch the game, he responded to my email within ~5 minutes. After ~10 minutes a fix was released and verified. Insanely fast! Kudos!
Edit: I have something around 5 hours in the game now and am really enjoying it. The bosses feel different, they each have their own way of being countered. Some builds are easier at dealing with certain bosses than others. The zap tier keeps the pressure up and makes it so you can't just kite high level enemies endlessly without fear of damage because the Zaps will keep the constant pressure. I unlocked the Cryomancer and am enjoying it so far, the Cryomancer starts off with access to all Frost Skills and their modifiers at level 1, in addition to some points automatically put in each skill which makes you immediately feel stronger and saves skill points. The Enhancement feature is unique to this type of game, instead of reaching level 100 and just farming for gear you have the option to reset to level 1 and get 10 skill points immediately, while having all of your items and skills reset - A feature I prefer over something that just forces grinding. I couldn't progress further than level 155'ish enemies so I reset to level 1, unlocking the Cryomancer in the process. I have also completed one of the sets, it was however for a skill I haven't put any points in, but since the sets don't reset when you reset to level 1 it is just a matter of time and build choice. Thoroughly enjoying the game so far. ------------------------------ So I have 35 minutes into this game so far, and because I have been waiting for this game I wanted to review it with my initial thoughts. I looked into this game because I like Path of Exile and Diablo but find Diablo has next to no customization and Path of Exile is simply too complex. Moderium seemed to be a good mix and it (so far) lives up to that expectation. How it works: You click on a portal, set a level for enemies and simply try to survive as long as you can up to wave 50. I started my first portal out of the tutorial fighting level 1 enemies, died on wave 8. Went back to teh safe zone (don't recall the name) spent a few skill points, started at enemy level 1 again, made it to wave 13. In these waves it is important to keep in mind that the enemies required to kill between each wave increases every 5 waves. So at wave 1-4 you have to kill 5 enemies to move on, then it goes up by 5. At wave 10 you fight a boss and I have to admit, the appearance of the boss made me think it was going to be super easy... It then started shooting a fireball at me every couple seconds, didn't run, it seems to teleport. Then I found out something I did not expect - The bosses get harder as their health gets lower. Suddenly it's teleporting faster, shoots faster, shoots more fireballs and shoots some in a pattern whenever it teleports - A pleasant surprise. I have a few set pieces, but not enough to turn on yet so I can't comment on that, but I'm liking the game so far, living up to the hype I had for it. If you like ARPGs I would highly recommend giving the game a shot.

A fun little game for anyone, and I mean anyone, my mom who hates and doesn't really get games enjoyed it. You go through portal after portal fighting mobs in many different ways. I liked the pack master build, just all sorts of wolves running around eating foes while I ran away like the chicken I am. The fire build was fun also, I got to run the mobs through a trail of fire...also as I ran away from them. Items can make your builds better with good specs on the random good drops or you can craft your own. So its a good little sit down play for 15-20 min or more if you want to build up to the better builds and open better classes as you start out as a poor nobody and build up from there.
A sleeper Rogue-lite. Easy to dive in but hours of fun(don't mind my 35+ hrs so far, I'm not done). It's more complex than it looks.
