The game has a number of interesting levels that make use of this mechanic in ways that feel mostly unique and interesting. The puzzles almost all involve a little bit of thought, but none are the sort that hurt my head. Once you understand what is holding you back from progressing on a level it’s usually fairly straightforward to see what you would do to clear it. Mostly it’s a cerebral game, where reflexes and timing do not play a role. Unfortunately somewhere around level 18, the dev seems to have run out of cerebral challenges and started introducing some timing based ones that were in my mind overly tight. Indeed I tried to find non-timing based solutions, but the dev had worked overtime to only allow one possible solution. To me this really hurts the game, and I decided not to finish it. The other notable weakness is the storyline. Such angst and anger. Imagine the movie Office Space but written without any humor and with 10 times as much displeasure. In the end, this is solidly a meh game. In this I’m going to recommend it, but only if the idea of turning a cerebral game into a precision platformer at the end sounds appealing to you; for me personally I could have skipped it.
