6/10 The story is not something new and the atmosphere lacks a lot. There are some CGs that don't match the narration of the scene and misplaced things, including the grammar. Mille -The ending- is not a good VN, but the artwork and the background music was good enough and I think the price and the fact that is kickStarter founded can exempt it from not recommend it.
This game is very good compare to other indie visual novels. Both the story and the music is pretty great. For a price of $5, this visual novel worth every single penny (though I received it for free so...). If you are a visual novel lover, this is a game just for you. However, as it is the dev's first game, its being rough around the edge is unavoidable. The transition isn't really smooth, some scenes faded in before the background changes. Also the transitions and appearance of the characters, and BGM as well. The character's art is kinda inconsistent, some side characters are even more detailed than the main The English in the game is kinda rough, not to the point of unreadable, but still, some mistakes here and there might interupt your reading a bit. While these small flaws don't affect the experience too much, I would totally love it if the dev improve the game to fix these few problems. Looking forward to MilliaSoft's next projects, just don't do Carrying You again :P
As far as VN goes, it's not that bad. The story is nothing that you haven't seen before and there are only a few choices that will lead to a different route and ending. However it is only about 3-5 hours of content depend on how fast you read it, and I can't help but notice a couple of grammar mistakes as well. There are certainly better VN within that price range (mostly ebi-hime stuff) and for that reason I can only recommend getting this during a sale.

L'histoire visuelle de Welcome To... Chichester 1, est extrêmement courte de 1 à 2 min max... rien à dire :)) Aucune carte de collection et aucun succès n'est offert... à lire que pour le plaisir. Amicalement Le pasteur
+good build +nice artworks -too short -uninteresting story
Very beautiful heartbrecking romance! No matter which road we go, the story doesn't fail to bury us in the Flow of Love in deeper. True feelings, hertbreacking hardship, idiotic secrets kept away even though they decide over once futur... I am just sad, that one road had to go ver the death of 2 lovers! "snif"
Millia -The ending- is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This is a poorly written Vietnamese e-book about the author's imaginary girlfriend that somehow got kickstarted, probably because of the Japanese looking artwork, regardless, like all Ren'Py high school anime club dropout fanfictions, this is a cringefest, with the added benefit of being badly translated. The trash tier plot is straight out of a high school anime club fanfiction, too... definitely someone watching way too much anime and needing to write godawful fanfictions about it. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble out and you have to click your mouse every time you wanted to read the next sentence, instead of just turning the pages. You'd think it was garbage. Now imagine that experience, but with much worse writing (because if these guys could write professionally, they'd be published authors and this would be on shelves in bookstores, and they wouldn't have to pay Valve $100 to self-publish this on Steam), and you have your average Steam e-book. One of the chief problems with failed authors polluting Steam with non-game E-books is that E-books can easily just be presented in a web browser... there's no justification for charging money on Steam for what might as well be a webpage. We don't spend thousands on buying a gaming rig to spend money on Steam for something Chrome or Firefox could do. While this E-book is "free", you can get better quality, professionally written books and comics for free online (from places like Project Gutenberg) or from public libraries. Steam isn't a comic book store, neither is it Netflix, it's for games. Your gaming rig is not a Kindle. It's impossible for me to recommend things to PC gamers that aren't really games.
