Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024

I love MSFS. I've been playing for years. I wasn't sure about making the jump from 2020 to 2024, but I ended up doing it anyways. I regret it. Everything is a struggle, full of stupid bugs or quirks that make no sense. It's been now almost 2 years and the game is far from an acceptable state. I would have expected for it to at least be at par with 2020, but it isn't. I will not go through the struggle of migrating back to 2020, but if you are in the fence about upgrading or not... don't do it yet.

why is everyone saying its "microsoft download simulator" when it literally takes minutes to download and then everytime you click "fly", there isnt a single loading screen. also it runs incredibly smooth on my entry level pc with high graphics

Faço questão de vir aqui fazer uma avaliação desse jogo. Sou apaixonado por aviação e jogo Flight Simulator só pela diversão. E é incrível como, comparado ao 2020, esse jogo é horroroso. Conseguiram pegar tudo o que o anterior tinha de bom e piorar. A interface parece que foi feita por uma criança de 8 anos. É feia, confusa e muito pior que a do 2020, que já era praticamente perfeita. O ATC no 2020 funcionava muito bem. Nesse aqui eu nunca vi funcionar direito. E sabe por quê? Porque o planejador de voo é uma bela *****. O planejador do 2020 era rápido, simples e fácil de usar. No MSFS 2024 eu NUNCA, e quando digo nunca é nunca mesmo, consegui usar ele direito dentro do próprio jogo. Faz sentido pra vocês uma ferramenta essencial simplesmente não funcionar dentro do jogo? Paguei caro por esse jogo, e o único motivo foi o modo Carreira, que tranquilamente poderia ter sido uma DLC do 2020. Vou continuar jogando, porque foi caro.

It was buggy and crashed, and I could not complete any flights. Kudos to Steam for quickly refunding my money. It's a shame as the game is beautiful. Right up until crash to desktop. Over and over. I had nearly an hour in game and probably most of it was setting up, downloading, or restarting after crash to desktop. :-(
