METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

This is kinda where gaming peaked graphically. Newer games will look marginally better than this while getting 1/2 the framerate with upscaling if you're lucky.

It's been over a decade since MGSV released and despite it feeling unfinished towards the end, this game holds up and absolutely demolishes a lot of other video games even in recent years. So many "eliminate base guards steathily to take the base" games have popped up over the years, but nothing will have the satisfying CQC and stealth combat like this one. Also the fulton recovery system is amazing, please someone make a game with it.
