Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 27 → 3.71/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Es ist ein tolles Spiel für Mehrspieler. Leider macht die Spracherkennung nicht so gut mit.

IT IS an AI Slop. but it's fun to play with friends for a few hours.

the tasks are absolutely standard everything looks great and the renaming feature is pure magic—a nice touch—but it’s a shame you have to restart quests from scratch as there are no checkpoints.
Played for 1.5 hours and already absolutely love it! This is one of the most creative and hilarious co-op games I've tried in a while. The voice-controlled magic works surprisingly well — shouting spells into the mic feels awesome, and the chaos of accidentally setting your friends on fire or levitating them is pure comedy gold. You can even rename spells to your own silly words, which adds so much personality.
While it promises to deliver a new twist to the "friendslop/streamer bait" genre while maintaining a fairly reasonable price, whatever fun Meowgic can provide quickly fizzles away. First and foremost, the main feature of the game, namely the fact that you can change a spell's name to whatever you like, within the game's voice/speech recognition limits, is quite fun at first (you mean I can call my friend the N-word and a fireball shoots out? Sign me up!), but very soon falls victim to the game's overall clunkiness: every time the game session is reset, every player's spell list, including the host's for some reason, is also reset, meaning everyone will have to re-learn and possibly even rename each and every spell individually, which can really lengthen the time it takes to actually start playing. Also, the speech recognition system is sometimes rather finicky, not properly understanding certain words and phrases or taking a bit too long to do so. Going into more in detail about the spells themselves, the list is in my opinion quite limited while also containing duplicate/redundant spells, such as the two "bubble" ones, which were basically exactly the same, or the lightning ones, which were in my opinion not different enough to really warrant the presence of both of them. Furthermore, while playing the game, my friends and I found that the so-to-speak "combo potential" of the various spells was quite limited; as a matter of fact, we could only manage to find two proper spell combos (freeze-fire and grab-push). Maybe the game could do with a bit more interactivity between the single spells, given it's mainly a co-op/PvP game. Coming now to the levels that compose the game, there is very little variety to be found here, too. After roughly level 3, my friends and I started noticing that huge chunks of the levels were basically copied from each other, only with the textures changed, so much so that at a certain point we started thinking we were just replaying through previous levels. This makes the entire adventuring aspect really feel like a chore, to the point where we started running through levels as fast as we could, skipping combat encounters and anything that was not strictly necessary to reach the win condition (for reference, we established a PB time of roughly 2 minutes according to the in-game timer, without even trying too hard). This tendency of ours was further compounded by the fact that the game's progression system (if you can even call it that, it's just the possibility of buying spells from a shop) very quickly grinds to a complete halt: after the spell list is complete there is no use for coins anymore, and therefore no real interest in acquiring them throughout the levels. Another thing we found out was the general jank involved with certain platforming mechanics, particularly those that have to do with spells involving movement: sometimes a collision will register weirdly or not at all, some others you'll try to dash somewhere only to be bounced away. One last point I'd like to raise has to do with the bugs, which are sometimes outright game-breaking and force you to restart your session. For example we had a key item that we needed to complete a mission clip through the floor becoming irretrievable. Another time, on one of the very last levels, we were stuck on a floating platform section which would have been normally impossible to complete due to the platforms clipping into one another making traversal impossible; we somehow managed to glitch our way through that section and completed the game. All in all, Meowgic feels more like an alpha or pre-alpha build rather than a full release, feature-complete product. The lack of content (it took us less than 5 hours to see everything) and variety, together with the relative absence of polish, made for an experience that did not meet my already quite low expectations. There is, maybe, something good buried underneath all this, but it'll take A LOT of work for it to be brought out. 4/10 - I won't even comment on the suspected genAI usage on the developer's part; I feel there's WAY bigger fish to fry with this one.
További ilyen jó megoldású, jó felépítésű játékokat kívánok a fejlesztő / fejlesztőknek ! A további játékosoknak pedig jó játékot kívánok, illetve kellemes kikapcsolódást hozzá.
