This game is quite interesting on it's gameplay mechanics, but the rest of the game falls behind. The gameplay mechanics of the game are quite fun and make a nice use of the level design of the game, but visually I'll say that the game is a 5/10 and the camera of the character needs to be better positioned. The level design is great, but the lack of detail on it makes the game feel empty. The AI is pretty OP and pretty simple sometimes making the game feel way too easy or difficult making the gameplay experience not solid. If you find it quite cheap like 2€ it's a good buy, but it's not at the original price. Here you have some footage of the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTg_RnlSoqA
Who needs guns when you got cool telekinetic powers! Honestly I had so much fun playing with it that half the time I forgot I could shoot at the enemies! Playing this way certainly provided a challenge, and even with the shooting it was still difficult to get through some of the levels. But in a good way!
Solid game, great minimalist graphics. Does suffer from some bugs and some lack of polish: enemies that are thrown around can have a wonky hitbox.
The Game has great potential. It is lagging sometimes. But the developer is so proactive. He is releasing updates on time to time basis. I loved the game very very much.
take a moment to enjoy the yeeting of dudes in to walls. had me in stitches far long than i am proud to admit!
It's good. I don't have tons to talk about as the game lacks the breadth and depth to do so, but what is here is of quite high quality. It seems as though its avoided the pitfalls of many other top down shooters, most of which are often employed to artificially increase challenge. In Menos, enemies are often placed in hard to spot areas before you alert them, but their never fully concealed, and they always wait until they are in frame before taking shots at you. Their reactions are realistically quick, but not so fast that you can't make any mistakes. They are also quite accurate up close, but if you side strafe them you can dodge their bullets when at greater distances. Though they can be a bit dense in the head sometimes when it comes to pathing and how they aggro to you, it is uncommon in the latter half of the game that you can clear a room by just standing around a corner and shooting them as they walk past. This all makes for a mostly realistic and enjoyable challenge, though I will say that this is with me only sparingly using telekinesis on enemies. I found that your mind powers, even with their cooldown, can easily be abused to clear rooms with little trouble. When only using guns, with psi powers as a last resort, it seems that the flow of the game is more consistent, especially with how unwieldy your powers can be at times. I didn't find any specific part of Menos to be really memorable, but its deliberately flat aesthetic, surprisingly good sound design and animations, and of course the gameplay itself, made for a short and sweet experience. Certainly a good omen for whatever Jack does next.
Cool cold matrix-office aesthetic. Plays better than it looks. Fun combat puzzle game. The main character is exceptionally handsome and has a sultry voice. What is not to like? Well it's kinda hard and I have to keep coming back to it to work on a floor.

I saw Menos : Precusor in my Discovery Queue and I thought it looked kinda cool. I then realized it was the sequel to an already existing game so I decided to buy it since it was on sale. The game is pretty cool. I thought it would be something like Max Payne but top-down. It is not. It feels more like hotline Miami. A single bullet gets you killed. The gunplay is fine and the telekinesis mechanic is cool, although a bit clunky. You can beat the game in a single sitting while getting all of the achievements (or at least most of them) without trying. It's not a AAA game that will have you play for hundreds of hours, but for 2$ I didn't feel robbed. So, a short and sweet top-down shooter. I will definitively keep an eye on the sequel.
I'm about halfway through and it's basically like Hotline Miami. If you liked that one, you'll have fun here too.
