However, I don't think I'm the target audience. I think this game is targeted for kids. If you have kids, you may enjoy this game a lot more than I did or the kids might. It's also budget-priced, so keep that in mind and lower your expectations. I wasn't able to test out online multi-player, so I cannot say whether it works or not. It mostly works. It's a very simple, arcade, casual, budget-friendly, kart racer. It has a pretty big city map where you can drive to different racing events. You could play single-player, but several events don't really work as single-player as you'll be competing by yourself. Funny enough, the racing events do have bots you can race against. Most of the events work. However, there's a few buggy ones, like the soccer mini-game. You push a soccer ball towards the goal with your vehicle. The closer you get it to the goal, the more stars you get. Unfortunately, for me, the ball went backwards, even though I hit the ball going forward as normal. The ball went out of bounds and then I just waited for the timer to be over before getting zero stars. Nice. The controls are very simple. You grab on to the steering wheel. Left trigger to brake and right trigger to accelerate. You never need to brake. You hit the arrows on the ground to go even faster. It's super easy to win most of the events. Game is running on the Unity Engine. On my RTX 3080, I was getting variable frame rates from 45-90 fps. I have no idea why performance was that bad given the simple graphics. You have snap and smooth turning (but it is too slow). You can easily re-center or re-spawn vehicle with a button push. [b]Rate ?/10. I had the chance to try the demo of this VR open-world racing game, and I'm so glad it's now available on PC too! The characters and karts are absolutely adorable – it's such a fun and charming casual racing game. Highly recommended!

I started this game without any big expectations, thinking it was just a simple arcade-style racer—but I was pleasantly surprised. It turned out to be quite immersive and surprisingly addictive. The sense of speed is especially well done, making the racing feel thrilling and intense. The controls can feel a bit awkward at first, but after a few rounds, they become intuitive. Each car has its own characteristics, so it’s fun to figure out which one suits your play style best. The customization and upgrade systems are a bit on the simple side, but in a good way—it keeps the game accessible. You don’t have to worry about complex tuning and can just jump straight into the action without stress. Megaracer is definitely one of those games that’s easy to pick up and enjoy casually. I didn’t expect much going in, but I ended up playing it way longer than I thought I would. If you’re a fan of the racing genre, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try. It’s affordable, easy to get into, and delivers a solid dose of fast-paced fun in short sessions.

I wish there were more diverse modes. It's fun to set new records. If more players join, I think it could become a really exciting game. I'm looking forward to updates.

The open world is really beautiful. It was fun and interesting to play various modes with the cart. I had fun playing it by myself because there were a lot of things to do. It would have been better if there were a lot of people.

"Wow, it feels like this is the first casual open-world VR racing game I've ever seen! I really love that the characters look like they're straight out of an anime. The karts are super cute, and the background scenery is just beautiful. I haven't had a chance to try the multiplayer yet, but I really hope more people join so we can play a soccer match in multiplayer mode!

超大的地图， 可以自己手握方向盘进行 操作体验， 沉浸感十足啊。 各个地区有 标志性赛事， 可以参加， 目前玩家好像不是很多， 但是也有 个人赛事，和 AI 进行竞速比赛挺有趣啊， 好像还有 迷你小游戏， 希望玩家越来越多，可以进行网络竞赛， 期待！
