Fun up until you get past the tutorial and into your first matches. You'll meet people with mechs that far outpower yours, most using trial mechs that take no skill and win by virtue of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unfair set up, no you cannot opt out of playing against those, and the economy is scuffed. you'll spend millions trying to get a mech build going, and in the end you won't get anything done. Whoever has the most CLAN mechs in their team will win, missile and laser spam is the norm, no room for creativity or variety, it's always the same unrewarding things. victories feel hollow because individual player impact is null to negative, unless it's some ♥♥♥♥ head on a trial/clan/premium mech, and it feels like a waste of time trying to win. I find myself letting go of the controls and just giving up in any fight because nothing I do matters. I don't matter. Why would I want to play a game where I feel like my existent in it matters less than the dust on my desk? Filth.

good
This Game has a really nice community of people and the mechs from my favorite wargame look soo good!
A lot of rough edges but definitely a gem. More strategic type of "first person shooter." Choose targets based on good intel so you're not always just aiming for the head shot. Tinkering with mech builds to maximize and balance firepower to mobility and overheating is definitely half the fun of the game. Communication is op. Can always find games.
Classic fun and adictive
Hat einen Launcher. Will Registrierung. Einfach nur nope. Gewöhnt euch die Calypso-******* ab. Es ist 2026
big mech pew pew but with lore? hell yeah.
It's fun. If you like World of Tanks or other games like that, this is basically the same thing with mechs and without any of the pay to win aspects that plague those games. That being said the game is in it's maintenance mode, slowly being twilighted as player counts dwindle. Faction play mode is dead, but quickplay is always available somewhere in the world. There lots of events that give away lots of free mechs and different cosmetic stuff and you are never pressured to buy anything. Load times and wait times can suck, but it's nothing worse than what you can expect from similar f2p games of this nature. Solid game, give it a try.
