Well thought out , unique puzzle solving platformer. There is very little combat but in it's place you have multiple tools at your disposal to overcome your obstacles (only 2 tools are there in the demo). The game doesn't do any hand-holding and even though some may find it frustrating , I like that it rewards you for interacting with the game world in different ways with multiple outcomes. Overall a solid demo and I'm looking forward to the full release.
Mayhem in Single Valley is a quirky, retro action adventure game at heart but it changes things up by adding in different segments of platforming, some light puzzle solving, and even stealth (darn you gorilla!). On top of everything, this game oozes style! It looks and sounds amazing. The chiptune soundtrack is especially great and makes my ears happy. If you enjoy retro games, platformers, or action adventure games, I recommend checking this demo out. It's free and has about an hour of gameplay the first time through. Video Preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KOwCVEz0FE Edit: I saw some complaints about the wind section. I don't know if I played a different version but it was pretty simple in that the screen literally shows you the direction the wind is blowing so it was pretty easy. Also, you have a dodge move and the spiders telegraph their attack visually as well as through sound so you have a second to press the dodge button. The game tells you when they're attacking, and gives you the tools to dodge it. I found the game to be relatively simple and straightforward other than the stealth section but that only took me a couple tries before I min/maxed my routes. You gotta use your brain there for a minute and not just run forward expecting to win. The only real complaint here is that the move speed is a little bit on the slow end but that's just personal preference and me being impatient.
Игра с классным визуальным стилем, который приятен глазу. Я думаю что на "Mayhem in Single Valley" не обратили достаточно внимания, надеюсь в релизе игры эта ситуация исправится
Помойка ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
This was certainly a unique experience, the art-style is fantastic and the idea's are nicely implemented (albeit nothing necessarily original) and here comes the but... sadly the game played super jankily for me, whether that was picking up items having delays or movement occasionally delay any and all other inputs. Visually this game is grand - through and through - actual play-wise this game is problematic and not one I'd recommend. I'll give a thumbs up as I want to be positive and I love the elements that I'm positive about but those negatives are certainly concerning to me.
游戏挺棒的,就是有点短了 不知道什么时候能出正式版 加油ヾ(◍°∇°◍)ノ゙
pretty boring honestly, i wanted to like the game for its very charming art style, but story-wise and gameplay-wise, the game is very bland. feels more tedious to accomplish things than fun. like a confusing puzzle game but confusing for the wrong reasons.
Довольно прикольная игрушка, с шутками и интересной историей
The attention to detail, the variety, the graphics. Something really special is brewing here.
