Max Mustard is a made-for-VR platformer with 40 unique levels, 4 ridiculous bosses and 8 powerful upgrades. No boring bits! It’s the perfect combination of first-person power-ups and classic third-person platforming. This is a VR platformer you’ll find impossible to put down.

Max Mustard has been an absolute joy to experience in VR. The third person platforming genre, Mario esque, has been such a fun way to experience in VR and it’s a little sad that there aren’t currently more games like this. My biggest complaint is simply not having a sequel to go right into after 100%’ing one of the most fun platformers I’ve played in a long time
A good, but not great platform game. Good graphics, but there are minor performance issues (I played on an RTX3080TI on the day the game was released). The game has a lot in common with Astrobot, but unfortunately it's not as good as Astrobot. Overall, the story is quite interesting and the platformer itself is fairly undemanding. Completing all the achievements is fairly easy, but requires a bit of grinding. I played on Oculus Quest 3 via Virtual Desktop.
This game is simple, yet amazing! I'm very happy and surprised.
Charming and very well executed VR platformer 🙂 Pleasingly old school while still making great use of the new tech.
not to bad
Have played all the way through on the Quest version, now going through on the Steam version and still loving it. Direct comparison, there are better textures, better lighting and more shadows, but still the same game. It has all the features of classic platformers, like coin collection, hidden coins, speed challenges, bouncing off of enemy heads, you can literally see the inspiration from things like Mario and Sonic, but in real 3D. There are only 4 worlds with multiple levels, yet every level was different even providing different ways to get through the level. If you have played other VR platform games, it feels like a mix between Lucky Tales and Moss with it leaning more like Lucky Tales. Lots of fun, could certainly wish for a sequel.
My name's Max but my friends call me Mustard.
A good game. I wish there were more VR platformers like this. My only real complaint is the game is very easy. Ven VR Adventure is very similar but provides more of a challenge.
