Reviews
Has a very strange, unpleasant stuttering at "high" graphical settings despite being well above 60fps. Reducing the graphics unfortunately removes a lot of the beauty of the game, which is why I bought it in the first place. There's potential, but the game's ideas are executed through clunky, buggy means. I did quite like the sound design, though.
I found this very disturbing and stressful. In a way reminded me of Outer Wilds.
Not a real game !
I was hoping it would last longer but alas I completed the game in 30 or so minutes. For some reason it launched my steam VR but it doesn't work in VR... I was really hoping it was going to work because this game would be sweet with VR.

1/10 Сложно назвать игрой, астрактный полет вникуда.
trippy
Matter is certainly interesting, as it combines zen with intensity well through it's vibrant soundtrack, but that's about all, to be honest. If the game had been marketed as an interactive album and sold for maybe $3-5 AUD then I would recommend it quite readily, but as it stands, it's simply not all that interesting to play and doesn't present anything memorable. It's essentially a glorified point and click (not that there's anything wrong with that, but I don't think that's what the dev was going for). If you're into abstract games with a cool soundtrack, then I would recommend it when it's on sale, but otherwise, no. 5/10.
