小时候益智书上经典的移动火柴棍的问题,但是这个游戏最大的毛病就是谜题描述不够准确,很多时候其实答案不是唯一的,但是游戏设定上只能有一个解,其他还行,但是这个缺点足够让我给他差评
I played this game with my 7yo, and she was able to do the first ten without my help. Later, when I got to the harder ones, she asked if I needed help, because it surely looked like it. 10/10 just for the precious moment. The music and working of that mental muscle didn't hurt either. For as little as it costs, I saw that it's an easy buy.
Cheap and cheerful. Some solutions may start standing out straight away once you get the knack of it but there are plenty of quirky ones in between. Better than the real thing for all the time it saves on setup.
good game, not bad i got stuck in few levels but it's good to pass the time
Matchsticks - Coffee Break Club is a calm, thoughtfully constructed logic puzzle game that embraces simplicity and mental clarity over spectacle or urgency. Developed and published by Rukerama Studio, it presents itself as a relaxed yet engaging experience designed for moments of quiet focus, living up to its “coffee break” name by offering puzzles that are stimulating without being stressful. Rather than overwhelming players with systems or narrative layers, the game places all its emphasis on elegant problem-solving built around a familiar and timeless concept: matchstick logic puzzles. The core gameplay revolves around manipulating matchsticks to achieve a correct configuration. Each level presents a static arrangement—often forming equations, geometric figures, or symbolic layouts—and challenges the player to add, remove, or reposition a limited number of sticks to satisfy the puzzle’s conditions. The rules are clearly communicated, and there are no timers, penalties, or external pressures pushing the player forward. This creates a space where experimentation and contemplation are encouraged, allowing players to step away and return to a problem with a fresh perspective if needed. Progression is carefully paced across the game’s collection of puzzles. Early levels serve as gentle introductions, teaching the underlying logic and visual language of the puzzles without explicit tutorials. As the game advances, solutions require more lateral thinking, pattern recognition, and the willingness to reconsider assumptions. Some puzzles even allow for multiple valid solutions, which subtly rewards creativity and reinforces the idea that logical thinking is not always linear. This design choice keeps the experience engaging while avoiding the frustration that often accompanies overly rigid puzzle structures. Visually, Matchsticks – Coffee Break Club adopts a minimalist aesthetic that complements its gameplay philosophy. The interface is clean and uncluttered, ensuring that nothing distracts from the puzzle itself. Several visual themes are available, allowing players to personalize the look of the game without altering its mechanics. These themes provide variety while maintaining readability, which is crucial for a puzzle game where spatial clarity is essential. The overall presentation feels warm and unobtrusive, reinforcing the sense that this is a game meant to be enjoyed at a relaxed pace. Audio design further supports the tranquil atmosphere. A soft, original soundtrack plays in the background, designed to aid concentration rather than command attention. The music loops gently and pairs well with the quiet, deliberate nature of the puzzles, creating an environment that feels more like a thinking space than a traditional game setting. Sound effects are minimal, used primarily to confirm interactions, and never intrude on the player’s focus. While the game does not include a narrative or evolving mechanics, it compensates through consistency and polish. The absence of story, characters, or progression systems beyond puzzle completion keeps the experience focused and pure. This makes the game particularly well suited for players who enjoy logic puzzles for their own sake and prefer self-contained challenges over long-term progression. Steam achievements provide optional goals for completionists, encouraging players to revisit puzzles or complete them under specific conditions without forcing a particular playstyle. The game’s limitations are largely tied to its deliberate scope. Players seeking dramatic twists, complex systems, or long-term replay loops may find the experience too restrained. However, for its intended audience—those who appreciate quiet problem-solving and low-pressure gameplay—these same limitations become strengths. Matchsticks – Coffee Break Club knows exactly what it wants to be and does not dilute its identity by overreaching. Overall, Matchsticks – Coffee Break Club is a refined and satisfying logic puzzle game that values clarity, calm, and thoughtful design. It offers a collection of well-crafted puzzles that challenge the mind without demanding constant attention or rapid reactions. Ideal for short sessions or extended contemplative play, it stands as a strong example of how minimalism and careful pacing can create a rewarding mental experience. For players who enjoy classic logic puzzles presented in a modern, relaxing format, it delivers exactly what it promises. Rating: 7/10
