Addicting…and frustrating It’s a great game that I can’t stop playing, for nine years. My family loves to tease me that I can’t start my day without it. But I have so much bonus money I can’t spend (or don’t know how), and my progress is consistently “lost.” It can be maddening when I’m on the clock with double points and they throw in a chance to win MORE bonus money of which I already have too much. Be careful with your money - I feel like they are hustling me and I’m the fool that allows it. I love the new Tetris-like game.
My favorite game I’ve been playing this game for the longest time now. It’s pretty to look at, some of the levels are pretty challenging so it’s satisfying to beat them after multiple tries. There are always new ways to earn stars and boosters just by playing the game and the various minigames and challenges. The ads are not intrusive at all, but watching them allows me extra turns or bonuses only when I choose to. It’s really still a lot of fun after many years! So thank you! I only have one question, why does the thumbnail look like it’s for a completely different style of game? Other than that, perfection!
Still garbage… I quit this game about 2 years ago because you guys purposely rig this game to drop non matching colors and then all of the developers responses are some generic mess about how you want it to be challenging. Challenging games still give you an opportunity to complete/win a stage. You intentionally program the system for failures/impossible to match anything to entice players to spend money to continue playing. If i have one green, one red, and one blue pillow…. How is that challenging!!??? There is NO POSSIBLE MATCH. Not to mention there is nothing we are working towards when you guys never update the game so we can continue decorating. That last statement was specifically for max level players.. there is literally nothing for us to do….
Mega Rainbow Ball, etc It takes forever to get the Mega Rainbow Ball and 9 times out of 10 I get 1 round with it. If I’m lucky I get 2. Then almost always after losing the ball I win the next round. Also what happen to the fun rainbow balls that exploded when matched up? I mostly enjoy the game. If fact I’m somewhat addicted. I love the side matching game. But I hate the pink cans and the bushes. Also it seems as tho there aren’t as many opportunities to get extra time to continue to play. Anyhow, just a couple of thoughts
A Game I Used to Love Has Become Pay-to-Play I have played Matchington Mansion for years, and I use to absolutely love this game. Unfortunately, I’m seriously considering quitting. The game has become incredibly frustrating. I repeatedly get stuck on one puzzle, and feels nearly impossible to move forward unless I spend money. I have paid plenty of times to buy coins, extra moves, and extended my playing time because I enjoy the game. But lately,it feels like the game is designed to make you pay if you actually want to keep playing. I understand that this is a business and that you need to make money. But there is a big difference between offering purchases and making people feel like purchasing is the only realistic way to progress. And the side games? After playing for years, I have never won one. At this point, the events are more frustrating than fun. I shouldn’t have to continually spend money just to get past a puzzle that I have been stuck on for days. When I finally do pay to continue, it feels less like a reward and more like being forced to buy my way out. I’m a longtime player who has already supported this game financially. I shouldn’t feel punished for choosing not to spend money every time I play. The game used to be about having fun, decorating the mansion, and seeing what was coming next. Now it feels like more and more like “pay to play”. That is incredibly disappointing because I really do love this game. But loyalty works both ways. If you want longtime players to stick around, give us a reason to keep playing-even when we don’t spend money. Please listen to your longtime players. Make the puzzles challenging, but make them fair. Give players a reasonable chance to progress without constantly reaching for their wallets. Otherwise, you may eventually make your most loyal players quit.
Long time player I’ve probably been playing this game for about eight years and over the last year This game has turned into such a money play game. They constantly have merge events that you can never finish unless you spend a bunch of money, makes them not fun at all the only merge event that used to be fun they’ve just changed and made it more about spending money for energies to finish the merge event. Its so frustrating because I played this game for so long that I want to play it, but I can hardly get anywhere without spending any money. And I have all these stars to do all these different levels, but they only do levels once every other week so I just have somewhere between 700 and 800 stars that just do nothing for me because I can only spend about 100 whenever they do release new levels it’d be nice if they would allow us to sell stars for other things but no because they just want us to spend more money
Watch Video Ad for Extra Moves Needs Work This is a fun, no stress game I’ve been playing for a long time and will continue to do so. I really appreciate the offer to watch video ads for extra moves and I have done so often. I’m not sure who needs to be aware and correct an issue, but I hope they do soon. It’s frustrating to take the time to watch a video ad for extra moves only to have the ad lock up and never get the extra moves. This is happening more and more with certain ads. The only option at that point is to force close the game and start over.
Awesome game This is my favorite. Very colorful and just soothes and quiets my mind for a little while
Must pay to play Game will let you advance with fair gameplay at first, then it becomes impossible to advance without spending your hard earned money!
