Simples e relaxante!

Nota geral: 07.
Tempo dedicado ao jogo: 12 horas.
Conquistas desbloqueadas: 23 de 24. I'm not really sure if Match Village is an asset flip. Some elements of this game certainly make it seem like the developer put some effort into assembling some kind of original here. On the other hand, a lot of the game assets don't seem like they were created by the developer, but they haven't credited any asset creators for supplying assets, which might be a case of plagiarism. There's no evidence beyond LMHPoly's Low Poly Trees pack being used here, but the developer has a history of both assset flipping and review manipulation. We do however need to give the benefit of the doubt... regardless, asset flip or not, the quality here is indistinguishable from many asset flip/cash grab scams, and that's a problem in itself. Rising Moon Games have a known history of trying to scam people into paying them money for someone else's work, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. One example of Rising Moon Games doing this is HEN, CHICKS AND CATS, which is really asset flipped using the "Cube World" asset, written by the actual developers, Polysquid. So what is this anyway? It's a bunch of what looks like asset flipped hex tiles, with village tiles you can place. Placing matching tiles next to each other makes them "grow" into a larger kind of building... it's been done hundreds of times, it's the kind of game there's tutorials for and they teach in entry level game dev classes. There's no strong value here as a real game, but that's the modus operandi for these asset flippers... put together some trashware and rush it into DailyIndieGame bundles and random key bundles from shady key resellers. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy minimalist/untextured low-polygon "retro" assets and visuals, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the early 1990s. The lack of textures is a method that lazy devs often use to disguise their lack of talent/interest in doing the graphics properly and trying to disguise it under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It looks bad as a result of their decisions, and that's just another reason to avoid it. The controls can't be customised because the game has such a dumbed down, simplified interface that it's just iPhone screen tapping stuff. The fact that the interface is this dumbed down might be seen as a problem in itself, however... this is a fairly shallow experience if you're the kind of gamer that likes to play games with deep, rich control schemes and interaction. You'll get none of that here. This is indistinguishable from a mobile app, but they put this on Steam instead of the app stores by mistake. Was it rejected by Apple and Google (they do have more rigorous quality standards than Valve does for Steam, after all)?. Regardless, for all intents and purposes Match Village might as well be a mobile app, it has the same limitations and dumbed down qualities. It's impossible to recommend such a game to PC gamers. We don't spend all this money building gaming rigs so we can pretend they're iPhones. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The game never really caught on with the millions of gamers on Steam, with a very low peak player count close to launch, and then just a handful of players launching this game every couple of days. This is undoubtedly caused by factors such as those raised in this review. It's always helpful with buying decisions to consider how popular and successful the product is, and unfortunately while this did accumulate a few participation trophy reviews, overall, people just aren't using it.
Warning: Review Manipulation! This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.
So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? Match Village has the almost unethical price of around $4 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. This is also competing with over 11,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
Match Village is a worthwhile, calm, chill, tile-matching game. + Worthwhile amount of content + Decent graphics + Good sound design * No music; ambient sound - adds to calm atmosphere - No tutorial, no explanations of game mechanics or progression - but it's decently discoverable through mindful play and experimentation Even when understanding the game mechanics, tile type counts seem unbalanced, progression of some difficult if not impossible. There's an undo action, but only if no tiles combined. You can misplay and no longer be able to complete tile quests. Which may or may not be deliberate game design. But it's certainly part of how and what you can play, and can be irritating when you can already see you won't progress in that part. With a highscore system, if you're playing for high scores, you may be tempted to give up and reset right away. The game mode may be theoretically endless, but with a play conclusion once you're out of tiles. After one hour, I feel like I've explored what was reasonably discoverable. Achievements and screenshots indicate some tile types I have not reached yet, but after two runs with understanding of the mechanics, and not seeing them likely be reached, I'm not tempted to play more. If you're more into this type of game, that may be different of course.
decent mix of Islanders and Dorfromantik. Recommended if you like those kind of games.
Match Village was disappointing. Gameplay is repetitive and unchallenging. Ads are overwhelming, interrupting the experience. Not worth playing again.
Match Village —

So this is how they build houses in Kazakhstan. In Match Village we will be, as strange as it may sound - Match Village. We take a house, connect with neighboring cells and Boom, we get another, cool one. In this way, we upgrade, expand our island and enjoy the simple but very entertaining gameplay. If you like these types of idle games, definitely try this one.
If you read the review and liked it, don't forget to give it a thumbsup;)
The further - The better♥️
