MaSzyna is a simulator, which will allow you to become a train driver of most popular locomotives and multiple units used on the Polish railways.
Everything you can see or hear during the simulation was made with attention to detail. Nearly all 3D models of locomotives and carriages were prepared from high quality photo textures. Every sound you can hear was recorded in a real locomotive cab or on the train station. Physics are also very important - MaSzyna faithfully represents brake physics and traction characteristics of electric powertrains. Fictional maps are created in accordance with real world standards. MaSzyna also contains few accurately recreated real railways.
You can drive more than 40 types of electric and diesel locomotives, many electric multiple units and others. In addition the simulator contains hundreds of locomotives and carriages liveries, almost all created from real photos. Explore about ~15 railway routes (including one real Polish railway line Częstochowa - Ozimek) in almost 200 scenarios. Random events are used in many scenarios, ensuring that any mission is never the same. Traffic is controlled accordingly with realistic railway signalling.
You can drive express trains with a maximum speed of 160 km/h or regional trains with many stops. You can also choose a freight train: a heavy train with 40 cars of coal or fast intermodal container train. The choice is yours!
Accurate brake systems, electric traction simulation and realistic signalling: all of that makes MaSzyna one of the most realistic train simulators available. Before performing the missions you should learn the rules used on the Polish railways (Ie-1), and consult the simulator manual on starting and driving of specific vehicle type.

Program...bo Symulator to mało powiedziane. Nostalgia z lat młodości , Super , że jest bardzooooo duży wybór jeżeli chodzi o Składy , Pociągi itp. Jedynym mankamentem są niestety , ale przejedzone już scenariusze. Poza tym nic dodać , nic ująć :-). Godne polecenia.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. So, yea...it's FREE. Tips: in the Starter app(before you load the scenario): 1. click the flag icon to change language. (EN=english.) It doesn't change everything, but enough to read most things. 2. click the "?", select the first option from the dropdown menu. This will give an overview page of operations. But, the KEY here is to scroll(or click to "keyboard control" and "control." Click on the "the site" link for operating startup procedures for each loco, and the other "the site" link for a keybinding list of all the functions....it doesn't show all of the functions in the menu in the Startup app. 3. reduce resolution to get better framerates; this game may be old, but it can still be demanding. the less things you have set to higher quality, the lower the framerate. 4. pressing "Alt" will let your cursor appear in the cab and you can switch most things. Some things are hidden, and you need to learn what the keybinding is to operate that specific thing. There is a ton of content here...MANY locomotives, rolling stock, etc/many many scenarios. If the loading screen "sticks" or seems like it is freezing with certain scenarios, it is still loading. It has been said that some of these can remain in the "stuck" position of the loading bar for up to 15-20min(this is just some of them.) I did one that loaded almost straight away, and another that seemed frozen. Oh, here is something else to help with translation: Open browser, type in translator. Bookmark this. When you look through the scenarios in the Starter, you can highlight the entire text of the descriptions. Copy, then paste into the translator you bookmarked; It does pretty well.
Best physics out of all rail sims. Scenery may be a bit lacking sometimes, but vehicles and rolling stock are extremely detailed and realistic. Requires studying the manual before playing because the controls and startup sequence for locomotives is just as it is in real life.
