MasterpieceVR

Application lacks Index Controller support and developer is no longer supporting. They have released MasterPiece Studio outside of steam for $49/m+. I know I am unwilling to go with that pricing model.

I honestly really loved this software from the first moments i spent in VR a few years ago, It was one of the main reasons i even bought a VR headset!.... I enjoyed the ease of use, the seamless learning curves, the hands on detail, and many other features that were added to "MPVR" throughout the years... BUT...... ...... When you pretty much abandoned the original project that we all paid for back then "MPVR" to push a "new" product, "MP-Studio" with a subscription paywall to actually use the ability to export and some of the advanced features you learned from the original MPVR community. That is when you lost me...... Sorry...

Не в коем случаи не покупайте данный продукт. Разработчики переехали из стима на платформу с ежемесячной подпиской, а данная версия осталась в далеком 2017-18 году (даже бесплатную Studio версию без возможности экспорта - от сюда снесли из-за тонны негатива). Уступает по функционалу тому же Gravity Sketch по всем фронтам. Слоев нет, зона редактирования небольшая, адекватного редактирование вершин нет. Все самые интересные инструменты уехали в Studio. Обновлений скорее всего никогда не будет. А я же, не найдя здесь не одного полезного инструмента - делаю рефанд.

this is only for people who would like to toy around. it is not as good as Oculus medium.... If you want a good sculpting vr experience, try out Kanova <----------

Was impressive on the release, but now no updates and better competitors out there for free.. I dont recommend buying this.. if they update some day maybe then. But for now its disappointing... try Maquette by Microsoft... FREE and more tools all round... even tool to import to Unity.. still needs work but pretty sweet.

I bought this as a substitute for Oculus Medium since I own a Vive, but found it lacking a lot of features that I thought would be basic like layers and scaling. I ended up downloading ReVive and purchasing Oculus Medium and the difference was like night and day. I would be open to switching to MasterpieceVR if it offered comparable features to Medium, but with the amount of features Medium offers I don't think that will be for a while.

yet another unecessary sculpting app without any real way to create anything with measurements... ... ... why even bother!!!!

It's a decent sculpting program, but still limited in features to maximize it's usefulness as a 3D modeling app. Great for sketching out 3D concepts fast, responsive and intuitive. Hopefully it will get more features in the future, without layers and a rework of the file system, it is cumbersome to use it. It's the best sculpting app for vive users however.
