i baught masterpiece vr a long time ago and now with studio you need to pay again every month ...that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i supported this from the start but the devs are greedy by the looks of it ill just stick to other software for my vr sculpting kodon is a pretty good alternative for anyone interested
I like this app, as a program and for that i give it thumbs up. It's unfinished but the fact that it's in VR makes it quite intuitive, allowing for quick rigging and weights and whatnot. But I HATE the sales strategy. Obviously they wont let you export your creations without a subscription... which has an extremely high price point and is totally out of the reach of enthusiasts and tinkerers or likely even small gaming studios. I'd pay a reasonable price, but a subscription of over half my monthly fun money is too damn high. A full blown gaming studio or 3D animation studio might consider the program. But no one else. I would love to get into this and play around making little videos and stuff, but it's completely out of my reach.

Extremely easy to make a model and animate it, especially when placed up against Maya 2020. Friendly interface, quite intuitive. Only complaint is the Animation section of Masterpiece Motion, which refuses to let me delete or copy poses or animations, so minor adjustments or mess-ups can cause big issues in future. It's quite unpolished, but what is there is very promising, and still generally nice. Note: It is a paid subscription. There is a free version, which is for trial only. You cannot send out models or animations to other programs in the free version. The paid version adds up in cost, but if you're doing it professionally, it makes life infinitely easier than Maya with similar capabilities. As someone learning both this and Maya 2020, something that took me over an hour in Maya took me under 30 minutes in Masterpiece Studio, from creation to finish. Its animation capabilities are very nice, and excellently applied, so long as you never mess up, as you can't delete a pose, copy a pose, delete an animation, or copy an animation. I love it, and look forward to updates to fix my complaint.
I was hoping for something similar to Zbrush but VR. I got that here but the breaks stopped quickly when I saw a subscription tied to it. This is great if you just want to go in and try sculpting but it doesn't feel its at the point I'd put money into it. I'll be glad to change my review if something changes. Right now it is not there.
As a non profit user. This has no option for me (you) You need Pro version to even be able to see your own creation afterwards. You can import and edit stuff. But to save to local you have to pay! You can get and learn it faster. Easy to use.
More subscriptions to the subscription god! A negative rating for the monetization system and for the lack of layers and updates in the paid VR version of the software.
Dislike that I needed an account even for using the software for non-commercial use. Also disliked to be forced to fill in a questionnaire before being able to access the software. Also makes it hard to remove an account by having to email support about it instead of there being an easy access button the account page. Probably a great software but they lost me before I even got in to it.
El programa no inicio en mi computador
Really an amazing creative tool. Very intuitive. So easy to translate what is in your brain to 3D form. Definitely one of my favorite creative apps. This kind of creative tool is going to change the limits of what you can visualize with your own two hands.
TL;DR: Don't waste your time. Even it's basic features are too buggy and underdeveloped to be useful for the most basic of tasks. If you signed up with a google account from their website YOU CANNOT LOG INTO THE ACTUAL PROGRAM. Google detects the login window in the actual app as an unsecured browser session. That's just a little shady... I did get in by making a new account instead of using their other sign-in options and making a new account, but this isn't worth your time. The free version is so locked out it's basically a demo that you can't even export from to test your creations in other apps. Additionally it has tons of bugs such as you menu buttons not switching your paintbrush properly, some objects just can't be deleted after they have been placed, etc... DO NOT pay for this program. This is a very early release of the application, but there is no way it is worth any money. The basic SteamVR home space has similar features (3D drawing, nice environment, model stamping) but better implemented.
