Забавный порт мобильной игры.
Been playing a few of Balti Calarasi games and they are starting to kind of grow on me. lol
Great game
Masterchef Ice Cream Edition is a casual cooking and management game developed by Balti Calarasi and published by HandMade Games. The game revolves around the idea of running a small ice-cream business where the player takes on the role of a dessert chef responsible for preparing frozen treats for customers. Rather than attempting to simulate a complex restaurant environment, the game presents a simplified and approachable version of the food-service experience. Its core concept is centered on the satisfaction of preparing different types of ice cream quickly and correctly in order to keep customers happy and maintain a successful dessert shop. Released in October 2022, the game positions itself as a lighthearted simulation aimed at players who enjoy casual management games with straightforward mechanics. The gameplay loop focuses primarily on serving customers who arrive with specific ice-cream requests. Each order requires the player to assemble the correct combination of flavors and ingredients before delivering the finished dessert. The game includes multiple ice-cream varieties and a selection of ingredients such as vanilla, chocolate, coconut, and other sweet additions that can be used to create different treats. Players must work efficiently as more customers appear, balancing speed and accuracy to prevent long waiting times. Satisfied customers represent successful service and help maintain the flow of the business, creating a simple but effective cycle of preparing orders, serving customers, and repeating the process. Although the mechanics are easy to understand, the game introduces mild time-management pressure as multiple orders begin to stack up. Players must pay attention to which ingredients are needed and quickly assemble each ice cream before customer patience runs out. This creates moments where the player must juggle several tasks simultaneously, especially when the pace of incoming orders increases. While the game never becomes overwhelmingly complex, these situations give the experience a sense of urgency that keeps players engaged. The focus on efficiency and timing places Masterchef Ice Cream Edition within the same broad category as other casual cooking simulators where quick decision-making and multitasking are essential. Visually, the game adopts a colorful and playful presentation that complements its dessert-themed concept. The kitchen environment and ingredient displays are designed with bright tones and simple shapes that make it easy to recognize each component during the cooking process. Ice cream scoops, toppings, and flavor ingredients are visually distinct so players can quickly identify what is needed for each order. The overall art direction is more cartoon-inspired than realistic, emphasizing clarity and charm rather than graphical detail. While the visuals remain modest compared to larger simulation titles, they successfully convey the cheerful atmosphere of running a small ice-cream stand. The sound design supports this relaxed tone with light background music and simple sound effects that accompany each action. Preparing desserts, completing orders, and interacting with customers all produce small audio cues that reinforce the rhythm of the gameplay loop. The soundtrack remains unobtrusive, allowing players to focus on assembling orders without distraction. Although the audio elements are not particularly elaborate, they contribute to the overall casual atmosphere that defines the experience. Where the game excels most is in accessibility. Masterchef Ice Cream Edition is designed to be easy to pick up and play, even for those who may not normally engage with simulation or management games. The controls are straightforward, the objectives are clearly communicated, and the gameplay sessions are relatively short. This makes the game suitable for quick play sessions where players can jump in, prepare a few rounds of desserts, and enjoy a light management experience without committing to a lengthy campaign. However, the game’s simplicity also reveals its limitations. The number of ice-cream types and gameplay systems is fairly small, which means that the core loop of preparing desserts and serving customers does not evolve significantly over time. As a result, the gameplay can begin to feel repetitive after longer sessions. The game lacks deeper management systems such as shop upgrades, complex recipes, or extensive customization options that might otherwise add variety and long-term progression. Despite these limitations, the game has managed to receive generally positive feedback from its small player base on Steam, with a majority of user reviews expressing approval of its casual design and approachable gameplay. Players who approach it with the expectation of a simple and relaxing cooking simulation may find the experience enjoyable, particularly for short bursts of play. Ultimately, Masterchef Ice Cream Edition delivers a modest but charming cooking simulation focused on preparing frozen desserts for eager customers. Its colorful presentation, accessible mechanics, and relaxed pacing make it a pleasant casual experience, even if its limited depth prevents it from standing alongside larger restaurant-management games. For players who enjoy light simulation titles or simple cooking mechanics, the game provides a brief but entertaining glimpse into the world of running an ice-cream shop. Rating: 5/10
