MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls

this game has a bad image from the pc port, but it runs good for me now. the story modes are great, this is the only game where slideshow story modes make sense

The game lags a bit on PC (not sure why but thats my problem) but I didn't care, I play it because I wait for a game like since 2013, the voice acting was great, the art style is charming, the game not overly hard or too easy, the 4v4 did take some time to get used to but if looking for good marvel fighting game and tired of Marvel vs Capcom infinite this the game is worth the price

I recognise that many players were turned off from this game by the disastrous state the PC port launched in. I was thankfully spared many of the issues that seemed to plague a majority of the player-base, and what few issues I had, seem to have been largely ironed out with subsequent patches. The game also requires a PSN account to play, and age-verification (at least in the UK) to use any online features. If this is a hard line for some, I completely understand. However, the game itself is one of the best fighting games I have played in recent years. A decently sized roster of characters with diverse gameplay styles and a frenetic tag system lead to a flashy, fast-paced, over-the-top scramble. Marvel Tokon really delivers on the promise of the superhero power fantasy. There are also a wealth of single player modes that have kept me coming back time and time again, even when I don't feel like getting my ass handed to me in online matches. As it is a live service game I can only hope that ArcSys stay the course, and that the only way is up! 4.5/5

Its straight up fun but finding matches in my region is still harder than it should be
