I have played this game since season 0 and I have seen the community for this game become increasingly more toxic, racist and anti-LGBTQ. These issues have not been addressed by Netease at all and have allowed this kind of behavior in the community to flourish after taking away the option to report players for hate speech. This is not to mention the lack of balancing to the game, fixing match making and the long periods of waiting Netease to fix other issues in the game that the Marvel Rivals community have been talking about for almost a year now.

Worst balance team in gaming

The recent update to remove the option to report someone for racism or hate speech is concerning, especially with the dev's history of racism and facilitating hate speech (including sexism, homophobia, etc etc), I can only imagine it will get worse now. There's SO many issues with this game, if I listed them all we'd be here for a week, but genuinely this is the scariest and saddest one. Rivals has created such a toxic cesspool of a community and I can't see anything being done about it, leaving old and new players alike frustrated and logging out for good- it isn't fun, and it isn't worth the headache that comes with rivals' insane visual clutter. Don't recommend this game at all, and definitely don't give these people your money.

IDF dev team, definitely avoid.

Until this bumass company deals with the issues of racism plaguing the game, I can't in good faith support a game made by a company that enables people that look down on people of colour.
