Un gioco molto profondo, corto ma con una storia intensa che fa capire proprio come si viveva in quel periodo

It's magnificent. For a short game, it showed you a world worth remembering.
It's a short game. First play through takes maybe 10 to 15 minutes at most. 100% takes about 45 minutes. The first play through feels a bit slow, waiting for a slow walking pace, waiting for text on a screen, waiting for characters to move. But if you can slow yourself down and relax into the storytelling it's quite enjoyable. It's a sweet little story, with such depth and such rich history. The little facts worked into the game are a wonderful touch that add so much to the narration. That being said, after your first play through, if you want to 100% this game it feels bland. You can't exactly speed run it due to the slower narrative nature of the game, so it gets a bit boring. Not a very replayable game I would argue, as there's really only one choice (between two options) you can make that alters the main story in any engaging way. Other little choices mostly just cut the story short. It's a wonderful concept and a quick enough story that it's still fun to go through all the options all in all.

Played for 20 min, finished the game, cried.
really great concept, but lackluster execution. i enjoyed the art style and the implementation of fun facts about life in the Polish People's Republic. the environment felt alive and almost familiar. i think this game was made with real heart and love for Polish history, but my experience was definitely affected by its poor writing and overall rushed feel. i read the reviews before playing it and thought to myself "how bad can the writing be?". well, it was worse than i imagined. the characters switch up very fast when confronted or presented with new information, like the old man with the tangerine card and the former wife of the main character. it feels like we as the player are supposed to perceive some sort of depth in the conversations we have with the characters, but they all fall flat, as a resolution is immediately presented. it doesn't feel realistic. i think the game has some great potential, but it needs to be rewritten before i can wholeheartedly recommend it to someone else.
Engl/Pt-Br: A short novel about overcoming adversity and humanity even in difficult situations, with several different endings. It shows the local population's perception of their communist government in the face of suffering from excessive police control and product shortages, and how this affects family ties. They are ignorant of the global perspective on geopolitics, of how capitalist countries suffocate their country with economic embargoes (scarcity) and propaganda of hatred and separatism (control). DEVELOPER! Part 2 could show the capitalist hell in small, subservient countries, where 70% only earn enough to live, without leisure, struggling to avoid rent arrears, repeatedly eating the same simple food, and losing their meager resources to hospital bills.
