Warning! this is a real mobile game, with in-app purchases, but most importantly it has real world time waiting for progress unless you buy "gems" with real money to bypass the waiting. biggest issue is that this game is sold for money instead of being a free to play.
I'm struggling to even call it a game. It is clearly visible this software was made as a F2P mobile game then ported to Steam. I still gave it a chance because 2 dollars isn't that much. But... You don't really "do" anything here. The removal of MTX makes it even more obvious. You just follow tasks one after another. You don't make choices, you are not challenged by anything, you don't think. Just walk from task to task and accept everything that pops up. So yeah. Even for free I wouldn't recommend wasting time on it.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Matched by title — a reused name can pair the wrong games. * is a critic aggregate. Prices and positions are each store's United States storefront; Epic charts worldwide. Audience and Score too, except Steam's, which is worldwide.

To be continued...? Seriously? It's not listed as early access, the game is not finished, limited game play and then to be continued. The game play that is available is repetitive and uninteresting. You'll quickly realize there is nothing to do. This game should be a free phone game (and not even a good one at that), not a paid PC game. Not worth the money or your time.
Hello dear Reader. This is a Double Review of 2 Games. Both Games are from the same Developer and have the same Mechanics. Here you can go to the WEST ESCAPE Review. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198078498143/recommended/3454300/ And here welcome to MARS SURVIVOR! Something went wrong and now you are a Survivor standing in the Ruins of a Destroyed Mars Station. Your Job: Rebuild, find other People, survive! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3502922513 You must destroy everything possible to gather resources. These are needed to upgrade weapons and clothing. Resources are also required for many missions along your way. For example, when you need to rebuild something or other tasks. In doing so, you will encounter aliens. Over time expeditions will be unlocked with many aliens, but also rewards, await. The fights are rather simple. As soon as an alien comes within a certain radius of your character, he draws his weapon and shoot. Yes, it is a more minimalist combat, but it depends on the level of your weapon. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3502922075 MARS SUVIVOR has charming cartoon graphics and is really a lot of fun but is a Little bit short. It gets a Little bit grindy towards the end, but thanks to the daily quests, you receive good rewards that help you progress quickly. The game has 2 currencies, namely Gold and Diamonds. And here we come to an important point: MARS SUVIVOR is a mobile game. But unlike the mobile version, there are !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!!!!!!!!!! here. This means !!!!!!!!NO REAL MONEY PURCHASES!!!!!!! in the game. That's why the game is not free on PC, but the price is perfectly reasonable. You can, but you don't have to, buy DLCs that give a slight advantage, and that for just 1.99 each, a price that is reasonable because it's also fine without DLCs. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3502921720 There are some Actions that are timebased. Pay Diamonds and Play on. You earn Diamnds for example with Dailys and doing Missions. And you will get maaaaaany of them. I ended that Game after About 5,4 Hours and have so many Diamonds left. You don´t Need to wait the End of the Timers. The End of the Game is a Cliffhanger but that doesn´t lower the Fun. I hope they will continue the Game soon. MARS SURVIVORs nice short Story, the AMAZING Soundtrack, the Charming Graphics and the easy Gameplay are making this a very good Game. I never understand why Mobileports were so hated from many People. WEST ESCAPE and MARS SUVIVOR for me are really good Games. Give them a Chance and enjoy, like i did. Thank you for reading. Game isn't complete. Stops suddenly with a "to be continued" screen and then nothing...... - Repetitive grind-fest with repeating "dungeons". - Can't control your char beyond moving from place to place - Can't tell your char to shoot (darn thing will wait for the bus to be almost on top of it before firing) - Inventory full of crap that you can't use or merge/combine so it just sits there - Can't move anything - Can only level your "tool" to level 12 and there are things that require lvl 20 - NPCs are pointless
Genre
Ein Top Down Action Adventure mit Fokus auf Ressourcen sammeln
Story
Fazit

Follow Main group
 Follow Second group
 Follow third group
Gets boring quick, no content at all after repeating the same quests over and over.
This is a fun Dysmantle-alike game. You start in a debris field and dismantle material that you can to repair your base. There are no monetary in-app purchases, so no real money is involved. Simply do not forget to claim your loot (includes money, blueprints etc.) after fulfilling an expedition. Only wish I have is support for higher resolutions like 4k (3840 x 2160).
Reminds me of an ISO game that may have had microtranactions in it, or was designed for them! While the game is small, repetative, the fact is if you get it on special it will surely make it more enjoyable and of course cheaper. I have no issues with the game overall, other then all the expidtions seem to follow the same pattern, kill 20 mobs, empty 3 crates, and find the specitaly item. All in all, it is quite enjoyable! It's no "My little universe" but still this is almost just as fun. Works perfectly on Steamdeck btw
