In Mari’s Magical Deliveries returns home to help her father run his delivery service. Deliver packages and possibly find romance along the way.
Gameplay & Settings
A cute otome with three love interests (two male and one female) about Mari, who just returned home to help her father with his delivery service. En route you may just find love. Sign here for your package…with a kiss! ✨ Earning money to decorate your room is a neat side twist to this visual novel. You can buy new items for your room at the Decor Store in game. The game has three endings, one for each love interest. 🌶️ Spice Level - mild. This one is meant to be cute, not spicy! Settings & extras include; display options, skip modes, text speed, auto-forward time, and audio controls. There are plenty of save slots and you can kind of hide the hud for screen captures (the images are smaller as the hud is designed to overlap them).
The Visuals & Audio
The lovely sprites are colorful and hand-drawn with a beautiful overall palette of purples, pinks and blues. They also have some facial animations to their eyes, eyebrows and mouths. There is no voice acting, which is not a negative. Just a mention. Some enjoy voice acting while others prefer to voice the characters themselves. The hud is designed in a way I’ve not seen before, the settings are not done in a pop up menu and are always on screen. I do find the design can take away from enjoying the visuals but I understand they wanted the overall hud to be part of the design and went the extra mile to make the layout look magical and colorful. I put a screencap down below to both show the cg I enjoyed and the overall look of the hud as the image on its own is small and would show empty space where the text bar and settings overlay. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3621789641
Overall Experience
The story is a cute but short otome that is not deep in terms of character development but more light-hearted and fun. There are three endings, one for each love interest and all good endings. I really enjoyed the sprite artwork and the chosen color palette. I believe the asking price for this experience is spot on given the shorter read and lighter story. A fun novel that is optimistic and finishes on a happy note. 💜

Please follow our curator page, Otome Lovers, if you'd like to see more reviews like this one! Super cute and chill. I liked learning more about Mari than the LIs and I don't think that's a bad thing. I only wish the routes had slight differences since her lines are the same in each of them, but other than that it was lovely!
I bought this on a whim thinking it would be a cute and short game, and that's exactly what I got. The store page says the game has point-and-click gameplay, and I don't think that's exactly correct. Basically, you can choose which deliveries to accept, and there's a small map with all the possible locations you can go to. If you pick a wrong location, you can just try again until you pick the right one. I don't think it's possible to lose or get a game over or even end the game without getting on a route (though regardless
the story ends on your first date
). In addition to that, you can use the money you earn to buy decorations to customize your bedroom. I didn't bother with this after the first playthrough (maybe that says something about me lol) but I enjoyed it for the first one at least. The story itself is pure slice of life. Nothing bad really happens, although there's some bittersweetness from past events brought up. There are three love interests who all have pretty distinct personalities and designs. Rather than distinct routes, you proceed through each day getting occasional one-on-one events with them, and then a dedicated scene with a CG at the end. It's all pretty cute, especially for the price. Also, don't press the H button.
