If you like extraction shooters and you don't mind difficult pvp and difficult pve then this is a great game. Just be warned it definitely isn't for everyone but if it's for you then it's for you

Fun, despite what people who hold a grudge against Bungie's other games think. Maybe a little too sweaty. It should develop a proper PvE experience for people who just want to chill.

I’m honestly in love with Marathon, which surprised me because I usually hate extraction shooters. I’ve tried Hunt: Showdown and ARC Raiders, but neither really clicked with me. Marathon feels different. The art direction and presentation is incredible, the sound design is superb, and the gameplay is fast and fluid. The gunplay feels fantastic, and while the game can be challenging, it always makes me want to jump back in. It’s a great game that more people should give a genuine chance.

honestly not an extraction shooters girlie generally but the gameplay loop to this is actually very fun, the gunplay is tight and the audio design is magnificent. the art direction has kept most of my attention admittedly but im shocked how much this game creeps into my head when im not playing it. if you so-so on extraction shooters or even negative towards them but are curious to find one that could show you the appeal id say give this one a shot

It is a wonderful game that is more than worth giving a shot, I promise.
