COLORS! SOUNDS!
So far, I love this game. From day one, I left ARC Raiders so fast when this launched. Some things do need to change about the game to make it better, though, I’ll admit. I think you should be able to use DCON to send loot to your vault early, or at least have a safe pocket like ARC Raiders. It sucks not being able to upgrade your faction benefits because you’re missing the basic materials. Multiple quests should be active at all times so I can turn in multiple quests after a raid. Compiler looks fun, but I can’t even get any AI Uplink Keys to work toward Compiler. It does feel amazing when you finally get one out, though. With my limited time to play each day, it’s hard to get everything done. Otherwise, the gunplay is amazing! The sound design is killing it! Everything is honestly super fun!
Marathon tells its story mainly through the Youtube videos, older games and codex entries. It takes some diving in to figure out what the world is about, but I think they did a decent job tying it together to the older games that we're an entirely different genre. The atmosphere, environment and sountrack are nice. And gives off a bit of a Halo/Destiny vibe. Being an extraction shooter, matchmaking is kinda weird. You either don't run into players at all or you get instantly lasered by a squad, there's not much in between imo. I also liked the PvE mode they added, since it also gives you the chance to just play against the AI instead of constantly checking every corner for players. I could compare some gameplay elements to Apex or Destiny but it aalsoo doesn't really feel like either. This was my first time playing an extraction shooter so I can't compare it to much else in the genre. There's been some bad rep for the game, but do hope Bungie doesn't axe it, because I do see potential in the expanded lore and gameplay. It's good 8/10

This game has a lot to grow, the only reason i have returned to it is because destiny is coming back.
Лучший из доступных шутеров~
Add Linux support through Proton, I don't want to change my OS every time i'm in the mood to play the game.

If you like extraction shooters and you don't mind difficult pvp and difficult pve then this is a great game. Just be warned it definitely isn't for everyone but if it's for you then it's for you
It is a wonderful game that is more than worth giving a shot, I promise.
