Marathon

I've been a big fan of the classic Marathon games and their story, so making the follow-up game multiplayer-only is a bizarre choice. This game has its issues, but there is real potential. The visuals are fantastic, the gunplay and abilities are solid, the worldbuilding is great, and the sound design is top notch!. However, the way PvP has been handled is kind of a disaster. Season 2 began with a buff to Cradle progression only to be nerfed soon after, leaving a bunch of newer players behind. It also seems like this last update brought some performance/server lag issues. I can't hate on this game. I hope Bungie can pull this game back from the brink because this game shows promise and does not deserve the level of hate it's getting.

Not gonna lie, this is a great game. HOWEVER! is not a game that is forgiving. IF you like a steep learning curve, a slow crawler that then explodes into 40 seconds of amazing gunfighting, only to be stabbed in the back by a lurker, AND you understand that killing everything and everyone will only get you killed, then you'll have a BLAST WITH THIS GAME!!! Also, the neon scheme of colours is amazing, and it feel as it should: ALIEN! <3

This game is a force hated game just because we didn't get destiny this game is fun if you love extract shooters even if you don't i would give it a try it comes with a lot to learn the maps and guns are fun and you honestly don't lose that much loot i haven't came across any unfair fights you lose some and win some depending on your skill level but this game is really fun and i recommend it

Never played extraction shooters before, though I have played FPS a lot. Bought the game on sale because the art and sounds looked very (very) cool! 160 hours in: I am loving the experience! They really tried to make it feel different from other games and it worked! Every run feels important, every loot is contributing to some progress (even if you fail to exfil). Going back to Apex Legends now feels like time wasted pointlessly. First 10 to 20 runs felt like a deer caught between headlights, but that's the same with almost any game with these many items. I don't understand the "game is dying" crowd. I only play with random squadmates, and it takes me 1 to 2 minutes to find a match at midnight (that too I am on Asian servers, should be even faster in other regions). Ambience: 10/10 Maps: 10/10 Combat: 10/10 Overall experience: 10/10 Don't believe what the Destiny doomers are saying. This game is an experience, and you won't regret buying it.
